Without taking time to scan the entire menu, this ravenous vegan was on a quest for one thing, and one thing only: SOUP! With Kitchen & Coffee's kitchen now closing at 4pm daily instead of 5pm (one more thing to add to the growing list of reasons why K&C is no longer my go-to in Beacon,) I knew there'd be no chance in h**l of getting a hot anything there on this chilly autumn day, and so I'm happy to report that Momo Valley came through! Delicious, hot, and comforting lentil soup with a side of Jasmin rice was the perfect answer in the form of take-out (the place was packed anyway) and sorry, no photos - I was too hungry and tired, after a busy afternoon of offering back-to-back readings at today's Psychic Fair. I'll definitely have to check out Momo Valley next time I visit Beacon.
There’s a separate vegan menu! The veggie momo in tomato/onion soup is probably one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, tied with the gundruk soup. Be sure to order an oat milk chiya!
Eating there every time I am visiting Beacon ! Super tasty and the staff is nice :)

Momo Valley in Beacon, NY is one of those places that feels like a warm hug after a long day. Tucked into a cozy corner of town, it serves up soulful Himalayan and Nepalese dishes that are both comforting and full of flavor. The vegan momos are little pockets of joy, and the Sherpa-style soup is perfect on a chilly afternoon. The staff treat you like family, and the vibe is relaxed and inviting. It’s the kind of spot you stumble upon once and keep coming back to. Don’t leave without trying the vegan chai it’s like a hug in a cup.
Wait time is about 45-60 mins. Friendly staffs from Nepal and the restaurant is very busy.

Food was pretty good but the mandatory 25% tip for parties of 4 left a bitter taste in my mouth (especially since our “4th” was a baby!). Prices are relatively high.

Such a delicious and satisfying lunch!! I never leave reviews but felt compelled after having the beef momos in the Himalayan onion soup - it was so deeply savory and perfect. My husband had the chicken momos with the sesame soupy sauce and that was also incredible. We wish we could come back already (and we ate there an hour ago) Love this place!

Oh wow! The fermented vegan soup, the lentil soup and the chicken momo were unbelievable. An unforgettable place.
the food here was absolutely delicious! the service left something to be desired as it seems they forgot about us and we had to wait quite a bit for menus, and then water. we had the everest platter, the steamed beef momos & the himaylan chicken bowl. good portion & delicious food.

Stumbled in here very hungry after a hike. Got the vegan platter and vegan mono, both were delicious. Separate vegan menu was much appreciated and great service.
Amazing flavors! Momos are good, but the soup is simply awesome.
We ate here a couple of years ago, and I can still remember being very satisfied with the service and the food.
We briefly trekked in Nepal in 2018 and this is still the only food that truly reminded me of the flavors from the Himalayas.
Dal bhat power - 24 hour!
Great food, bit expensive but worth it. Really enjoyed the vegan food in addition to the beef and chicken momo's.
Delicious, will be going back
