This is a lovely place to go for a celebration lunch or dinner, the staff is friendly and food is delicious! For all those dessert lovers you have to try the raspberry crème brûlée!

The hotel is good, but the restaurant manager is very bad and racist.

The place and its ambient is really remarkable and even poetic with the visible and gentle waterfall to watch if sitting by a window. Unfortunately, the cuisine isn't as fine, it's simply ok. The service could be better too!

I stayed at The Roundhouse on a getaway out of the city. On a positive note the staff was very kind and helpful. For the money thought it was underwhelming.

As a person living with a visual disability why are all hotels so poorly lit? The hallways were dark and I had trouble finding my room. The room numbers were not easy to see, lightly imprinted into a wood finish wall. The room was very poorly lit, light fixtures were extremely difficult to find. Not only is it uncomfortable to not be able to see , it's dangerous for a person with low vision. No overhead, no dimmer options. This is a serious problem in all hotels, this one included.

I was so uncomfortable I requested an upgrade(for an increased price) so I felt safe. The desk attendant was very helpful with the change and helping me move my bags into the new room which was brighter and easier to navigate.

The walls are extremely thin. I was up most of the night listening to my room neighbors having loud sex. I guess he couldn't get it up, because I heard her syaying 'what's wrong with you, are you broken?' He then let out. huge and loud moan. I could hear everything they did and said, the coughing, hacking and of course their sex.

This was not the idea of relaxing especially for the price of a suite. Simple 'resort' amenities are not included. There was no coffee on site and Keurig that did not really work. 'Breakfast' was muffin and bagel in a bag left on teh door. I have diabetes and can't eat any of this, and really neither should anyone else. There was nowhere on site for room service or any decent breakfast.

There was no fitness facility and nothing nearby. The google chrome was also out.

If they want to charge suite prices they need to provide safe and resirt style accommodations. I checked out a day early to come home to rest.

I hope they add some light fixtures and brighter bulbs in the hallways. Someone will eventually be seriously hurt.

Safety: Not well lit, rooms, hallways. Poor accessibility. Dangerous for person with low vision.

Location was good, not too stunning. The waterfall is a big underwhelming. But hey, the view is stunning from the room.

Crazy that a hotel of this size doesn’t have a fitness center.

Based solely on policy; In order to make a reservation for 5 or more you need to pay $10 per person which is non-refundable (even if you cancel immediately), but is used toward you dinning bill. I was totally OK with this; however, you have to make the reservation on-line and when you pay the $10 per person…………there is an additional $2.25 fee!!! 😳. That seems fair???

My mom and her new husband wanted to go to the Roundhouse after their elopement ceremony. The location is undeniably beautiful and they had positive experiences here previously. They called for a reservation two weeks in advance and unfortunately could only get an 8 or 8:30pm reservation in order to be seated inside by the window. When we arrived, we were seated by the wall, which already put the newlyweds in a bad mood. If we were okay with this seating then we would have come earlier in the day anyways instead of waiting!

The service was okay, but we ordered one round of drinks when we arrived and as it took a bit for the food to come out a few guests wanted a second drink. Unfortunately, no one came and asked us for our drink order after the initial visit at the start of the night. My mom did not enjoy her cocktail and was waiting for the opportunity to get a new one. The service throughout the evening was underwhelming, especially for a restaurant of this caliber.

A few of us split the crab cakes as an appetizer and I thought it was quite good. If you are expecting coastal crab cakes here then it is better that you steer away from these. For me, though, this was not a hindrance. I personally ordered the Filet Mignon for dinner and thought the meat tasted great. The potatoes on the other hand were spread out thin on the plate so they were cold by the time they arrived and became crispy. Other guests at the table ordered the duck, salmon, and pasta.

At the end of the evening, almost all of us ordered the Creme Brûlées and Irish Coffees. The Creme Brûlée was okay, not the best I've had, but nothing huge to complain about. The lemon financier was underwhelming and the dish should have done without it. Unfortunately this was among the worst Irish Coffees I've had. Overall, this place has so much potential. I'll concede that the cold food could be due to us having a big group. The food is on the right track but I think can be fine tuned for a more appetizing experience. The service needs to change though. Between not being seated specifically as requested weeks in advance, for a wedding no less, and not being checked in on by our server, this spot begins to lose its value for me. Maybe I'll be back again, but it isn't looking likely.

We wanted to love this restaurant but the service needs major help. The food was good (minus the crème brulee which tasted like gogurt), and the vibes were perfect. But seriously, the service is comically bad. All they need to do is hire a new restaurant manager from NYC who is experienced and can train the waiters properly.

Lovely location, good food, staff a little overwhelmed by a perfect weather weekend crowd.

This review is mostly based on the service received by front desk and no response on the waitlist. The guy at the front desk seemed annoyed like he did not want to be there. There were two times we visited this restaurant and both times they took our name/phone but never even texted us back. First time, the front desk guy was rude but I did not leave a review thinking we all have bad day but coming here second time had let me know that this is just a pattern

Restaurant review: The service was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. However, the food was very mid. The pasta was overcooked, the duck was overcooked, the Brussels sprouts were good, and even though a lot of the food was overcooked, the flavors were very good. I would give it another try but wasn’t impressed for the price point.

Reviewing restaurant only as we did not stay in the hotel. We stopped in on a busy Saturday night without a reservation, the host told us it would probably be 30-40 minutes for a table outside. We went to the outdoor bar and had one of the seasonal cocktails, which was delicious. We were only waiting for about 20 min before they were able to seat us, and the service & food was fantastic! I had the steak frites and it was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Friend had the mac & cheese and it was so yummy. Beautiful area and the waterfall views were gorgeous!

listen … what is wrong with you people … i don’t even have that good of a palette or that high of expectations, but even i knew this was subpar. i don’t mind bad food at all, but you have to price it appropriately. i should not pay $24 for a po boy sandwich and receive 3 shrimps. i should not pay $14 for a glass of wine and be severely under poured. let’s 👏 get 👏 it 👏 together 👏 guys!!!

Food and drinks: bad
