The restaurant and lounge are stellar! 10/10 birthday location. The duck confit was amazing, as were our cocktails. Be sure to leave room for dessert! Cappuccino and opera cake were 👌🏽🏆
The Roundhouse does chic and comfortable so well. I was thrilled to discover that due to availability I had been clandestinely upgraded to a creek view and, as a fan sleeper, slept hearing the natural and beautiful white noise of the creek. The rooms are so quiet, luxurious and comfortable.
While the restaurant was closed for the evening I stayed the lounge was fantastic and the service was warm, knowledgeable and friendly.

The location is great and the decor of the room is beautiful but the positives stop there. First of all, the staff was unfriendly (no smiles, short answers, little guidance on local things to do when asked). She just seemed bored. Next, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I’ve traveled all over the world and this might be the worst bed. There are hard devices inside the pillows (why?) and because there is no area rug (and no slippers offered), I heard every step in the room...
