This is one of my favorite spots to go in Beacon for tapas & drinks. I don't know what it is about this place, but I always find the best, most kind people at the bar. I end up yammering on for hours with strangers and we always become friends ... I truly believe that is the magic of Wonderbar and the amazing people they attract. Oh yeah, the drinks. Arguably, I believe you will find the most creative and some of the best cocktails in the entire HV here. I'm afraid by saying this it will be even harder to get a seat at the bar, but people need to know how great the team here is. Additionally, the food is excellent and fresh. Again, one of the best spots in Beacon. Excellent job Wonderbar

I cannot fault the atmosphere or the service but the food was little to be desired for and it was expensive for that experience.
Greasy, under seasoned, poorly presented and overcooked food and definitely not of a standard that justified the price.
What a shame as every eating establishment we had been to before then in Beacon had been Wonderful. .

We came into Wonderbar on a bit of a time crunch, and this restaurant could not have been more accommodating. Our waitress Stephanie was so kind and helped us navigate through the menu to find items that took a shorter time to prepare. We had our food in what felt like no time at all, and every single thing we ordered was absolutely devine. Will be back for sure.

Such an awesome spot to enjoy a cocktail and delicious food. They had a small bourbon selection, seasonal cocktails, and the menu was simple as well. Prices were great for the delicious food. Portion is perfect. The vibe is so relaxing. Table seating is good and they also have a few outside as well. We enjoyed it there and will be back.

The food is very good and the service excellent.
Great place to eat alone.
Hamburger is excellent.
Bloody Mary was really good but it was missing celery.
The worst part of the restaurant is the napkins. They hurt your face to wipe and absorb nothing.
Hard to eat a good Hamburger 🍔 with a ruff napkins.

Unique location. Food was good and reasonably priced. Service was a little spotty, very nice and caring staff, but food was very slow and had to ask multiple times for resolution of incomplete orders. Wouldn't stop me from going again, just would try somewhere else before.

Cocktails are creative but many are served with lots of ice which dilutes the taste.

I was incredibly disappointed with my experience at Wonderbar. I arrived with my family (we are 5 altogether) and we were told that there would be a 45 minute wait for a table, which wasn’t a problem. We put our name on the list and proceeded to get a drink from the bar while we waited. While we were waiting to order at the bar, a manager came up to us and told us that we were not allowed to order from the bar while we waited for our table to be ready. Not only that, but she told us that we were crowding the bar and that we needed to wait elsewhere, as in outside the restaurant. Throughout this time, we were quiet and polite, not creating any kind of disturbance that would warrant a refusal of service. After a long and difficult week, all we wanted was a refreshing cocktail while waiting for our table, and we explained this to the manager. She did not listen and held firm that we could not order cocktails while waiting for our table.
I politely asked the manager if I could stay at the bar and order on behalf of my family while they waited in the waiting area, so as to not crowd the bar, but she again told me no, that nobody was allowed to stand at the bar and that I had to wait until I was seated at a table to order a beverage (keep in mind we had a 45 minute wait).
Completely turned off, my family of 5 decided to go elsewhere and not return. We have dined in many restaurants in small towns and large cities alike, all at peak dining times, and NEVER have we been told that we could not have a drink from the bar while waiting for our table. We will not be returning, and if anyone is considering dining at Wonderbar and there is a wait for a table, know that you will be turned away from the bar and asked to wait possibly up to an hour until your table is ready, without any water or beverage.

Fun and different atmosphere. Their cocktail menu was fun and delicious. Bartenders and staff were top notch! We will go again soon. This was our second visit. First time we had a light meal and saw Reservoir Dogs! Good times.

Amazing food! Amazing service, great atmosphere! The Nashville Dumplings are delicious and their Apple Pudding Cake is heaven on a plate. Will definitely go back!!

Love this place! We enjoyed some amazing plates: shishito peppers, panzanella salad, truffle tots, quinoa salad with shrimp. Paired with a couple of pilsners … just great. Service was excellent. Love the vibe.

Love Wonderbar!! We had our rehearsal dinner here and it was the perfect environment – pretty as is, great food & drinks, and really helpful management. We've also been by a few times for just appetizers and we love all the different options.
This is our first visit to Beacon and our host recommended this place. We were probably unlucky that there was only outside tables, which robbed us from the atmosphere described in other reviews. BUT, the food was really good and the service very friendly. We had a very tasty Peruvian ceviche (a bit to small portion in my view), the dumplings (excellent), the hummus and the calamari (meuh…!). It is pricey, like NY prices, but overall a nice experience.
