This is a decent little shop. Avoid all the cluttered gifts and mess up front, there are good salads, fresh sandwiches, a solid choice of drinks, all at your fingertips. Coffee isn't memorable. Prices can sting a bit, but you're eating pleasant food with a nice little sitting area outside. Not a stalwart of the community, but more than a passable purveyor of grub.

Over priced for cold prepackaged food.

Wish I could give a higher rating. Cute shop, staff is friendly. I thought it was a fluke the first time but it happened again. The bacon in the premade wraps was raw. Biting into raw bacon fat.. not ok, or safe.

Love this local coffee shop. Easy place to stop for coffee, cards, sandwiches- little things to make life sweeter. And the staff makes it sweeter too. Love this spot.
G E Brown is a cute, almost "Amagansett-style" coffee shop. I've had their coffee before but only when my husband has picked it up. Today I went in on my own and enjoyed the brief visit. The menu is simple, and yet it gave me pause. Two large coffees (one iced, one hot), a fruit cup, a small baguette sandwich (they call them "twists"), an egg and cheese (which took less than 8 minutes to prepare), and a blueberry muffin ran me ~$35. Felt fair to me, honestly. Stopped in around 8:45 am and it was already pretty busy so I was surprised by the quick, kind service. Definitely a place for the "golf and tennis club" goers, which is fun for me to experience as I'm very much an outsider in that sense. Definitely would make this a regular stop on weekends.

I’m at GE Brown almost daily. They have the best coffee in the area and lots of great prepared foods. Plus lots of healthy snacks. The Bacon Egg and Cheese is the best around -- everyone in my family loves them. Plus lots of great baked goods (GF breads, brownies, cookies), home decor items, kitchenware, bar ware, mixers, etc. Makes the Bedford & Pound Ridge area a better place to live! And everyone who works at GE Brown, including the owners, are super friendly and helpful. Absolutely love this place!

Unlike the other reviews at this place, I actually thought this place was such a cute coffee/gift shop. When I first walked in I said hello and a woman who was doing inventory said hello back but kind of sounded grumpy. That was the only encounter that I had that wasn't the best but it wasn't like she ignored me either. I ordered a chai tea latte with coconut milk and it was delicious! I also got the Macarons which were a little bit pricey but totally worth it because they were flavorful and delicious. The guy at the counter who took my drink order was super nice and accommodating.
