The best place for breakfast and lunch in Bedford. John and his team are amazing!

I had an incredible experience at The Outpost! The pork belly egg and cheese sandwich was an absolute delight – the pork belly was perfectly tender and flavorful, and the combination with the egg and cheese was heavenly. It was evident that high-quality ingredients were used, making every bite a savory delight. The avocado toast was truly out of this world, with creamy avocado spread over toasted multigrain bread, creating a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. The attention to detail and choice of premium ingredients made my visit unforgettable. And small attention to detail is noticed because they make their own iced coffee cubes.

Not bad not good . It’s in the middle the flavor of their food is not quite there they maybe need a new chef who can shake the salt shaker. Beautiful people who work there will have future potential

Went today for the first time. Steak sandwich w caramelized onions was one of the best I've ever had. We drove up from Larchmont, only 30 min and we'll worth it. Going back in a couple weeks to pick up my meat box. Can't wait!!

One of the best Bacon Egg and Cheese I have ever had.

By far the best sausage egg and cheese on the planet. I will be back to buy from the butcher shop next. This is worth the drive.

The guy with the ponytail is rude the cook is nice. The food is decent. I question the veracity of the farm to table/organic claims. Most of it looks like it’s just the regular supermarket stuff.

This place is v weird and a terrible guest experience. It's freezing inside and they have the door open while loading things. We were given half assed breakfast sandwiches (which we didn't order - we order eggs and toast) and it was delivered without napkins or utensils (I would have never ordered over easy eggs on a breakfast sandwich)We had to find our own napkins - then the pissy staff was annoyed I wanted salt and pepper. They gave it to me in loose condiment cups. No drink selection and the prices are REEEEDICK.The place is so odd - they had half empty shelves and matzah??Don't call yourself a restaurant.

Overcharged for a Banana bread! We stopped at the Outpost and purchased a loaf of Banana bread, a baguette and 2 seltzers. We did not get a receipt and did not pay attention to the total we were charged for (our mistake). We happened to check our bank account and realized that we had been charged $53 for 4 items.....I called the next day to check on the price of the items: $42 for the banana bread, $8 for the baguette and $3 for seltzers...$42 for banana bread!!!!!!!I was asked if the bread included nuts....I count my blessing that we did not choose a banana bread with nuts. The bread, while good, absolutely does not justify this ridiculous overcharged amount! We buy baked goods all over Manhattan at top-notch bakeries. It is shockingly overpriced. Sorry you will not see us again in your shop!

Had a couple of Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwiches with my Son. Awesome! Staff was great as well. Will be going back.

The food is good, and has a Made Here, Not Assembled Here, vibe. The portions are large. Prices are high, even considering those. (That's Bedford) Choices are mostly sandwiches, breakfast stuff. There are a few places to sit inside, plus take-out. Service is OK. It's also a small grocer, with some veg, fruit and meat from local farms. No WiFi. Toilet could use some attention.

We've just moved to Stamford from NYC and discovered The Outpost when we were exploring the area around us. What a revelation! The food is here is simply marvelous, sourced from smaller boutique farms that care about their product. We were not familiar with A2A2 Dairy until we found Farmer John, but now will drink or eat nothing else. If you order off their menu, be prepared to wait, but it's well worth it. The breakfast burrito is the best one I've ever had. The burgers incredible. Ignore the negative reviews - if you are a foodie, you won't be disappointed.

Beyond disappointed with both the one slice of prepared meatloaf and the one serving of eggplant parmigiana which combined cost $25.00. I was excited to bring home these two items to NYC to enjoy over the weekend and sadly they were both terrible. The meatloaf was as close to tasting like and smelling dog food and the eggplant parmigiana was so overcooked, over fried and way over salted. Ergo...two evenings of terrible dinners which I had to throw away. Any the gal at the counter as others mentioned...zero personality. I won't be stopping by again after making tons of purchases at the Tack store (which is amazing!)
