One of our favorite spots. The owner is always so friendly. The drinks and the food are always great as well as the service. I always order their Pasta a la Tony over zucchini noodles. My absolute fave

Everything was delicious. Baked clams, stuffed artichoke, chicken parm, fresh pasta.....and the dessert is outstanding.

The service, food, and atmosphere are top-notch. A welcome alternative to the many restaurants that have recently fallen into disuse.

Very loud and a small place.
Owner did informed us that we would be seated soon but we waited….
Although we had a reservation, we waited 20 minutes plus past our reservation.
Food was ohhh k. Nothing special about any dish….
All the hype for nothing special.
Appetizers were ok, salty….
Salad was not plentiful at all.
They brought us small plates just so there was just enough.
Again ok.
The atmosphere was ok.
Loud where even the person next to you couldn’t hear….
I probably would not go back…
There are much better restaurants with better food selections and overall better atmosphere.
The waiter was attentive at first but once time was near closing he disappeared.

Nice neighborhood Italian spot. The fried calamari was crispy and delicious. Portions were large, and pasta was cooked perfectly. Consistently great food. Definitely our favorite place.

One of the best old school Italian restaurants in the South Shore of Long Island. Teddy takes care of everyone personally. He's the best. Favorite dish: Veal valdastano.

Dined here for Valentine’s Day and we enjoyed it. Service was a bit lackluster, hard to track down our server and he seemed rushed all the time. Didn’t tell us about specials or any features for the holiday. The food, however, was exceptionally delicious and well prepared. Shrimp scampi and chicken parmigiana were both lovely. Limited wine list but still some very nice options — I had the Montepulciano, which was very tasty. Carrot cake dessert was quite small for the price. The atmosphere was cozy, nothing too fancy but still very nice. I would return, the food is exceptionally good and I’m sure the service would be better on a less chaotic day.

Great place. Would have given it 5 stars except they don't take Discover, which has been virtually accepted for at least the past 25 years.

I will say the food was absolutely delicious , great stuffed artichokes , very good baked clams. We called in and asked if they take reservations and the guy on the phone said “no just walk in” so that’s what we did waited 20 mins to be seated meanwhile people came in after us and sat before us with a reservation… definitely a local spot for and more or less you can say is that people that got there are “ regulars” seemed like everyone knew each other . The waitress took our order and asked if she can take our appetizers and entrees together, so I asked to make sure that we have time to eat our appetizers she stated that we will have plenty of time to finish apps before the Main course comes out , well as soon as we finished the last bite of the apps our food was at the table had no time to even swallow the last bite of apps . I knew that was going to happen that’s why I didn’t like that she took our order for apps and main course together , needless to say we felt rushed and that’s not what we wanted but knew it was going to happen just by the way she took the order. They had a veal chop special for like 70 something dollars , I ordered it , it was absolutely delicious could of been a meal for 2 or even 3 people “family style” , but didn’t know that till I received the meal. Went with 3 other people and they all liked there meal. If you like good Italian food and like a local everyone knows each other place , and don’t mind having to eat fast then try this place out. Then we also waited 30 mins for our check after all the hurry ,I don’t know if it was only because it was a Friday night and they wanted tables in and out to get more people in but I’m not sure .

Been here before and this restaurant is generally very good. My wife took her cousin there for a birthday dinner and both were pleased with the food which was very, very good---the service terrible.Their waiter was inattentive and neglectful of their needs. It gets better. Wife is no pushover and gave the waiter a crummy tip due to his poor service.Checking out the floor manager berates and embarrasses my wife for stiffing the waiter. Not a very intelligent interaction with a repeat customer. WOW
