When this restaurant coocoo riko first opened, my family and I were genuinely excited to try it out. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was inviting. However, after visiting multiple times, we started to notice a troubling pattern. After our fourth visit, a couple of us started feeling sick. We brushed it off as a fluke, but when it happened again after our fifth visit, we knew something was wrong. It wasn't until our sixth visit that we realized it was the chicken that was causing us to become ill. It was not being cooked properly, leading to food poisoning every time we consumed it. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed and quite frankly traumatized by the experience. It has been over three months since our last visit, and we have no plans of ever returning.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's a shame because the food initially was quite tasty, but the consistent food poisoning is not something to be taken lightly. It's important for restaurants to prioritize the health and safety of their patrons, and unfortunately, this establishment fell short. Avoid at all costs.

I went to lunch, I didn't like the attitude of the fat man who serves and charges. He thinks he's the owner because of the way he serves, they gave me a simple and old chicken, all dry, the service is no longer good, the sauces have nothing to please and very expensive.
Early lunch, food not merely disappointing,,it was AWFUL ! My Charcoal Chicken & Yucca were very dry & tasteless, perhaps from the day before.. cream spinach starchy & low on Spinach content my friends had similar complaints. Service was good, . Ambiance okay. But food was insipid/ plain lousy ! Overall experience terrible, therefore my only recommendation is to skip Cookoo Rico . Chicken portion was from a very tiny bird . This Lunch lacking taste,freshness and portion size !
