Back here for the second time, the food is absolutely amazing and the service is top-tier. First time I eat here I was impressed with the food and I highly recommend it.

Love the charcoal chicken! A diverse variety of sides. Since Boston Market has fallen apart on Long Island this has become a welcome replacement for us.Parking: Decent sized lot for seating and takeout level.
The food here is SO GOOD‼️‼️ Honestly the best chicken and sides ive ever had (and salad) ?. Def a must try!!

Tried for the first time tonight. Waited 45 minutes for 2 half all white meat chicken dinners. Problem is I arrived about 10 minutes before 5pm and only a few customers inside. How do you not have any grilled chicken ready at 5pm ? They should at least be upfront with folks and advise you when you order when there is going to be a huge delay.I was told 10 more minutes for white meat after waiting 15 minutes, which was clearly false.Too bad, because the food was pretty good.Charcoal Chicken was super moist and garlic wedges were tasty. Grilled corn was a miss, skip it. Having observed other people getting served for 45 minutes, I noticed some servers were far more generous with portions of side dishes than other servers. I think the prices are too steep and service is too slow .Also, they offer a discount to customers who post a 5 star review here- which indicates they need to incentivize customers for 5 star reviews.

Placed a small order for pickup at 5pm and was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. At 5:30, I was told it would be another 10 minutes. 45 minutes later and still no food. Several other people standing around waiting for extended periods of time.

Went to Cookoo Rico last night. First and last time! Sad part is the chicken is decent. The problem is (think might be manager) the staff is rude and nasty! They had a coupon in the paper- buy one dinner get second free. Thought it was a perfect opportunity to try their charcoal and fried chicken. Ordered that way and the cashier said has to be same style. No where on coupon did it state that and they were the same price! The rude man who came over said this is it! Would not listen - I said is this the way you gain new customers? Shrugged and turned his back. Great way to run a business - NOT!

I went to pick up my online order on a Sunday evening and the place wasn’t busy, but there were a few customers dining in. My order was ready on time, BUT, two of the six sauces that I requested (two orders of three different sauces) weren’t in the bag. I should’ve checked my bag before leaving, but oh well.I ordered two 1/2 chicken meals, a small side of plantains, and churros. Everything had a good flavor. My favorite was the yuca. Although it was more dense than I’m accustomed to, the season and flavor made up for any shortcomings. I added a bit of their cilantro lime sauce to it and that made it even better. I heard that it’s also good with their chimichurri.I would try Cookoo Rico again, but I probably wouldn’t use an online order app due to the pricing difference.Parking: I don’t know if they sometimes have issues with people frequenting other local businesses and using their parking lot, but I did see signs on several spaces that mention 24-hour parking surveillance. The parking lot was mostly empty when I visited on a Sunday evening.
