Amazing gelato and fantastic customer service. I stopped with my sons when driving through the area today and we thoroughly enjoyed all of the gelato we purchased. The chocolate was rich and creamy, and my sons loved the Oreo and cotton candy. We loved it so much, we decided to bring some home for my husband (peanut butter and biscotti... which were also phenomenal), and hearing bar we had a 40 minute ride home, the owner kindly packed it in ice for us. My husband loved it and is asking when we are going back. Definitely expect to see us again this week. This is the best gelato on Long Island!

Just walked in for a quick dessert on date night and got the coffee gelato. It had a weird taste to it and I did not like it at all. When I asked the girl working the counter if I could swap it for another flavor, she said “ I can’t do anything, you have to pay for it”. I understand if the item was eaten but the cup was still full, and it just tasted completely off.

Dolce is our absolute favorite, it brings back great memories of Italy. Honestly we would go every night if we could. The gelato is delicious!!! We were just there on 5/6, the young ladies working were lovely. So excited that they make cakes now, just ordered our first.

We were there a few weeks ago on a Sunday night. The place is really cute and very clean. Gelato is great. But the cappuccino was awful. Boiling hot water and steamed milk. We bought 4 cookies. Each one was hard as a rock. Had to toss them. I gave it 4 stars because it's such a nice place. But I think their employees could really use some training before they're left alone to mind the store. (Have been there before. Same experience.)

Since ice cream is my favorite food group, I had to check out Dolce back when they opened. It has become a staple in our household. My fiancé and I sneak out without the kids knowing so we can grab a cup of gelato as a weekly ritual. We take the kids sometimes too lol. Danny and his staff are always friendly and accommodating and the gelato is always fresh and delicious.

I love the variety of gelatos at Dolce Gelato. All the flavors I've had are delicious. I like the fact that they keep the gelatos with nuts separate from the ones that do not have nuts.I don't have to worry about cross contamination because when I tell the person's serving me that my son has a nut allergy, they take care in keeping my sons order separate if needed.I have never had a negative experience at this gelato shop. The workers are professional and friendly. The place is clean pleasant to sit and eat your gelato.

Could possibly be the best ice cream spot in Long Island

This past Saturday we stopped by Dolce for some gelato. It was very bright and spacious. Many Gelato flavors to choose from too.We got the kid size “Fig and Honey” and “Chocolate”. We also got two cookies, an “s”and Linzer Tart type.All was good, and a yummier choice than Carvel. Although, the gelato wasn’t as thick and flavorful as others we’ve had. Also the cookies were just….ok too.Pro Tip: Order them without a cover and it was a heaping scoop. Beware though, they melt fast. Across the street is Mill Pond Park, romantic place to enjoy gelato and read a book.
