Recently found this place and have been very happy I did. The meats have a decent char which I look for with my meat forward meals if I can get things cooked by flame. The seating is not best but honestly that’s far from a deterrent for me. I want repeated and proper flavor from the kitchen and that’s what I’ve gotten. I’ve also brought a myriad of friends here and they all concur that the food is a very good handling of what Greek/gyro flavors should be. Definitely worth...
I live in Astoria, home of the Greek, and this place is amazing. The service is wonderful and the food is delicious. I loved their chicken souvlaki with salad and vegetables and their dressing is amazing!! Great hidden treasure.
I go out of my way for G & H’s perfect Greek salad and avgolemono! Always so comforting and you’re given service w a smile each time you walk in. Their dressing is v different and so tasty!
