Mama retired and a new couple have taken over and it is now Mama Gina's Columbian Kitchen. They have remodeled the front of the restaurant, although one of the murals remain. The owner/chef is very accommodating. Everything is made fresh, the empanada were very good, we've enjoyed the plantains and the Paella for two was a very generous portion with lots of seafood. We ended our meal with Tres Leche cake. Great service. Delicious food, we'll be back.

I went here when I first moved into the neighborhood about four years ago and got a Buffalo chicken roll that had undercooked chicken. I don't mean it was cold in the middle: I mean it was borderline raw.I saw they were on TooGoodToGo, so I decided to give them another chance tonight. I placed my order and arrived at the very beginning of the pickup time. They were already closed. So basically I placed my order, paid for it, and when I went to pick it up, they were nowhere to be found. With more than a dozen pizza places within a three mile radius, I have no idea how they're still open. Maybe people just don't know there are significantly better options around the corner.

Love mama ginas. Pie outstanding fresh mooz, good sauce, crust nice and crispy...like it should be! Veg slices very good too. Had the white pizza...also very fresh and good. Salads hit it on all levels. Always fresh, no wilty lettuce. Eggplant and chicken rolls also good, made fresh when you order, not sitting on the counter for hours. Friendly people a big plus. Wish them success!

Have not been there in a while so I will not lie.. but I ordered there at least twice a week and my husband and I have gone there for over 20 years on date night the food is absolutely delicious the pasta is so fresh the sauces are amazing and so many choices Pizza is one of the best I've had but since I grew up in Brooklyn I'm not going to lie LOL.. the staff is friendly I believe they are family and it was always a great time sadly during the pandemic I could not leave the house and they delivered and the food was just as good.. haven't been there in a while so I'm wishing them all well but I will continue to eat their delicious food until the day I leave ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great food and friendly staff. The chicken roll is amazing and is a huge portion. They make their own fresh mozzarella which shows in their food. It is absolutely delicious.

Mama Gina's- home of Long Island's smallest slice. An extra star for using fresh Mozzarella on their pizza, but that won't save it...not really good....new owner's...worse pizza.

We've been ordering from Mana Gina's for decades. I'm not sure if there are new owners, but our last order was completely different and nowhere near as good. We always order chicken Parm dinner with angel hair pasta. This time they said they don't have angel hair anymore and the regular spaghetti was the thickest spaghetti I've ever seen. The Chicken Parm was ok, but nowhere near what it used to be. We'll try somewhere new.

Passed by it today figured I'd try it for the family tonight. Their regular a fresh mozzarella slice, and it's super super thin. Garlic knots are super thick, and dense. Vodka slice, super bland. I wanted to like it, I tried, but everything is bland here. Maybe an off night. I know Fridays during lent are rough.

First time ordering from this place through Uber eats . I ordered the chicken roll . It came with a small cup of marinara sauce which was a plus . The food packaging was very good as well. As far as the chicken roll itself , the presentation was different but nice . The size portion was bigger than any chicken roll I've ordered at different locations which is a plus as well. Taste wise I think it was good but I've tasted better marinara sauce . Overall it was a good chicken roll .

New management ruined everything great about this place. Super sad to see a great Long Island pizzeria ruined.

The pizza didn’t look good but I was starving. So I purchased 2 slices ($6.00) only to regret coming here. First off, most places charge a 3% (3.5% at most) for credit card payment, but they charged a 9% fee (like. 54 cents is going to make a difference for your business; except lost of customer). It’s not the money but the principal…Secondly, the cheese on these slices was too little and tasted awful.

Great food, great price, friendly owner. A true homerun for the ages!

I just had the most horrific experience with the man who answered the phone. I do NOT recommend this place based on the terrible attitude I was just confronted with on the phone. I was a regular customer. I called my order in regularly. I tried to explain that their online ordering was unclear and I intended to order 2 full sized pizzas but they delivered me small pizzas (personal size). The pies are good. The food is good and I was calling to order more but tried to explain that their user experience wasn’t great. He yelled at me that they are under new ownership and he can’t do anything about it and he does not have time for me AND HUNG UP ON ME. It was horrible and I will NEVER order from there again.

We called in to order delivery, ordered our usual chicken parm dinners. They arrived small portions and burnt… heads up mama Gina’s sold out to new owners… their signature sauce is gone forever … we called to tell them how bad it was and they simply said we hope you’ll give us another try. RIP mama Gina
