Food server walked out with 20 wings , 5 more then I had ordered ( hadnāt noticed )
He was heading towards the bar with it and I thought the wings were mine so I waved him down , he gave them to me and I was eating them to find out they were someone elseās. Innocent mistake on mine and the servers part and something that happens occasionally in the service industry.
I apologized to the guy working ( presumably the owner from how upset he acted ) , he was cursing and bitching me out under his breath to the very sweet female bartender even though Iād apologized numerous times and told me that when MY wings got there I should ā take them to go ā And made another few snide remarks.
I even offered to pay for the extra wings. ( which he had me do.i paid for a total of 35 wings even though it was an innocent mistake between me and the server )
It sucks because Iād been going to wing night for 3 weeks straight at this point and really liked the spot but Iāve not returned since because the way the situation was handled put a really bad taste in my mouth. The female bartender is an absolute sweetheart though
