Second time coming here and it was terrible. There was 1 waitress so it was extremely slow. Our rice balls came out frozen. My pasta tasted a little weird. My son didn't like his Rigatoni at all. Not sure if I will come back here again.....

I’ve always loved Piccolos and I’ve reviewed it before under my maiden name. BUT now that we’ve had our wedding reception lunch here, I’m reviewing under my married name.

About 55 guests were accommodated with plenty of space, extremely attentive staff, professionally set tables, and plenty of the “best Italian food they ever had” (their words not mine).

They even kindly served our wedding cake for us. I realized after we left that we actually cleared out a little too slowly past our end time, but they didn’t even make us feel rushed.

Truly the best place for parties.

Came here for dinner on Sunday and cannot say enough wonderful things about the service. There are many restaurants on Long Island who have good food but service it what really makes a place stand out. Our server Theresa was beyond exceptional. She was attentive, charismatic and truly made our already good experience with the food a memorable one for how she treated us. We can’t wait to come back and will make sure if she is working to ask for her. It’s not often you go out to eat and get service that really goes over the top and truly makes you leave feeling special. Thank you Piccolo and Theresa for a wonderful dinner.

For gluten free people: this restaurant does offer gluten free options. However I want to strongly warn against the gf pizza. It was so hard I could not eat the crust and left a pile of crust on my plate. It was so hard tha It actually chipped my tooth and I had to go to my dentist to have it smoothed out. I wasn’t going to write a review, but since I’m still dealing with the aftermath of the meal 2 weeks later I felt like I needed to warn others who may be looking at getting the gf pizza.

I’m not usually a reviewer think that a majority of people who leave bad reviews just like to complain lol but I used to rave about this place been there several times brought family recommended it a bunch but we went today and the winning streak stopped we all ordered the custom pasta things second to last page had meatballs ( more like meat wasn’t really a ball) raviolis sausage and stuffed shells fiancé got the same everything was cold and the flavor was just not what i remember understand things are more expensive now but why should we have to pay more for less ? Maybe it was a Sunday 3pm was busy but I’ll try again a less busy time I guess

Piccolo is not fine dining but it is very good. Their bread and mixed salad come with the meals. The bread basket consists of 4 small very delicious slices of square pizza and a small round Italian bread also delicious. As an entree, I like the combos, which are plentiful and consist of 2, 3 or 4 varieties of pastas, meat or shrimp. For example, #16 which I usually choose, is made up of 2 stuffed shells, 1 manicotti and 2 large meatballs. My husband enjoys the chicken parm with pasta. Both meals are very good and reasonably priced and you will most likely have enough food for another meal.

Excellent food and service

Our waitress was outstanding. We were catching up with old friends and never felt rushed - not to order or to leave when finished. It was exactly what we needed. The menu is expansive and that alone requires time to navigate. So many choices. It did not disappoint.

I have been to this place many times and it’s always good. Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting a nice young man named Joshua who was a bus boy. He was so polite and attentive. I hope the restaurant acknowledges his service.

Oh, the price is online and on their menu. Do not reflect the actual prices at all expect to pay around $30 per order of ravioli. Service was also kind of strange being that they pushed ordering extra items and scaling a portion size also took around 35/40 minutes to come out with a plate of raviolis.

Reliable Italian Restaurant with better than average food and prices. In this day and age of minimal menu selections, Piccolo is just the opposite. Lots of traditional Italian offerings for dinner along with specials and combination plates. (eg. Chicken & Eggplant Parm among many others) Wine selection is great as well. Gratis slice of Sicilian Pizza & Bread for starters. Depending on your entree selection, there is a free house salad. Can be a bit noisy at peak times but if you're from an Italian family you've learned to live with it. Enjoy!
