Last weekend we celebrated our Wedding Anniversary at Piccolo, they NEVER disappoint. The staff is always friendly knowledgeable, personable, and always willing to go the extra step. I was not familiar with "perch" a fish in one of the dinner specials, I was trying to google it when our server approached. I was having an issue with cell service while looking it up. He quickly took out his phone, read me the results, I tried something new and enjoyed a delicious meal. Absolutely wonderful experience!! Thank you Brently (??) you made my day!!!

Great classic Italian food. Great staff, attentive service. Our group of 10 had a wonderful, lively dining experience, not just a meal. Thank you again to Piccolo's!

During covid, I was furloughed from my nyc job, I applied for a server position at Piccolo.
The owner humiliated/degraded me during the job interview. He asked if I was a criminal. Felon, dui, on the run, I replied No to All of the Above.
His personality is grotesque. Because he has money I guess he feels he can be the King of Bellmore. Outside of Bellmore, no one's ever heard of him.
With his smile, he kept demeaning me and demoralizing me. All I wanted to do was work to provide for my family.
Remember when Everyone was staying home, collecting unemployment and businesses were understaffed, I showed up in a suit and tie and was ready to start the next day, I wanted to work.
I replied very simply, I needed a job, I'am an American Needing/Wanting to work to Provide for my family during a world crisis. Survival.

A wonderful restaurant for a casual sit down with family or friends. They even have a spot outdoors to eat if the weather permits.
I've come as a patron several times throughout the years without issue. Once again recently for a celebration of life gathering in their party room.
I can't thank the staff enough for all they did for us that day.
And I cannot recommend dining here enough. Always a great time to be had

4-5 star for the quality of food but 1 star for the prices.
Pushing the envelope a little too far.
I usually do other lower priced competitors and the quality is not worth the difference. Great place i will use once in great while but the price difference is an issue! Sorry

We love the car show at the LIRR Station across the street on Friday nights. We’d stopped in for pizza once and to refresh ourselves when this restaurant first caught my eye. Coincidentally an old work buddy, first seen at the car show was then having dinner with his family. I knew we’d find the occasion to dine in. We returned for dinner on my birthday a recently and had a great time. Joe and Brian took excellent care of us, safeguarding our allergies and sensitivities and Miss Claudette came over and spent quality time with us after our meal as an introduction. She was so warm and engaging. We joked that if she’d stand in for her husband while he was away, he’ll have to return the favor in her beauty salon. The scungilli salad was delicious as was the grilled octopus. I think the Dijon salmon wasn’t going to be a favorite, but I knew I wanted fish that night. I’m told to come back when their specials include other fish dishes. I think that dish may have paired better with a different starch. Maybe a fingerling potato; maybe just some sautéed asparagus—save the carbs…lol. I guess I disassociate pasta of any kind and tangy Dijon sauce altogether. It was fine over the salmon though. Just a suggestion.
Vegetarian options: The eggplant rollatini was yummers!!!
Dietary restrictions: Poor Joe was back and forth with questions and answers from the chef to ensure we were safely served…this to me is the “SEAL” of excellent customer service. We’ll definitely dine in again and make this a favorite.
Kid-friendliness: Of course there were many food options for children and the vibe of this lovely restaurant was family oriented. There is a party room if one chose a private party as well—in fact we were so BLESSED to witness a wedding taking place. No distasteful music or decorations—very child friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: Roomy enough to accommodate a wheelchair and no steps to climb.

For years we have enjoyed consistently delicious food! The atmosphere is always fun and comfortable! They always find room for us-even last minute! Tommy is the most generous owner I know. He gets involved walking around to tables and checking that everyone is happy!
The staff has the greatest attitudes ever-serving is a tough job. They do it with smiles!
Don't miss it-get in there!!

Came here from out of state at my grandma's insistence. It was hard to find something on the menu with all my food allergies but my server was able to help me frankenstein my own dish together so we could both enjoy our night out. They're quick to correct errors (even tho my grandma didn't even want one because she liked what she got lol). The service is prompt and our waiter was great.
Dietary restrictions: Most every dish can have substitutions and they cater well to food allergies and intolerances. Gluten free options for pasta, cauliflower crust for pizzas etc.
