One of the best Chinese take outs in the area. Nothing too fancy, been coming here for close to a decade!

Ordered from them for the first time today. Very disappointed. The scallion pancakes were very underdone (not at all crispy) and arrived in pieces that looked like they were scraped from a badly prepared batch of bisquick pancakes. They were spongy and had the texture of undercooked crepes. I make better ones. The shrimp dumplings were all dough, watery inside and flavorless. The chicken dish was 90% vegetables with small bits of chicken here and there. The best part of the order were the fortune cookies because they were fresh and crispy.

House of Lu, is possibly the best Chinese take out on Long Island. I have been to many other Chinese takeout and sit in restaurants. They are the best by far The Hot and Sour soup is amazing, always lot's of tofu The Pork with mixed vegetables is always great And the vegetable fried rice has lots of veggies

Literally amazing every time. So delicious, not too greasy, but not too plain either (unless you request it). It's actually a perfect option for someone on a diet who doesn't feel like cooking because you can get everything steamed! Not only have they been super respectful and clean when it comes to the coronavirus (clean, gloves, masks, etc.), but they also are super quick with delivery. It seems like it's a family business that works incredibly hard to serve their local customers. I normally don't write reviews but after ordering three times during quarantine, My family has been so grateful to have them around.

I ordered a lunch, and when I picked up my order, I found that there was no soup. The optional soup was clearly marked on the menu, but the merchant did not ask me when I called and picked it up. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken, but it was almost all vegetables. I can only say that both the service and the food are average.

Good, greasy Chinese. Fan of their egg rolls and their Lo Mein. My boyfriend gets the shrimp in lobster sauce which has great flavor. The egg drop and hot and sour soups are pretty good but the wonton filling in their wonton soup is pretty undesirable. This is not gourmet food by any means but if you're looking for typical, greasy Chinese grub it's a pretty good go-to.

Good Food, Good Owner , Quiet , You get your good fast but a bit overpriced then and there , but overall pretty good. Best Chinese place near wantagh.

Bad business practice to not trust what a customer says. Will not use this place again. We have been ordering from this place for a number of years. Today, when my wife tasted the Mei Fun it tasted smoky and burnt. There were even some burnt noodles in the container. I called the owner to let him know of this and his response was very unusual. He informed me that he spoke to his wife - who apparently does all the cooking - and she said that the Mei Fun "is good", hence it is not his problem. He refused to listen to my complaint. I informed him that we will not be ordering from him again. He did not seem alarmed; on the contrary he said "that is ok".

Decent food, but nothing extraordinary. The General Tso's Chicken tasted more like Orange Chicken and didn't have a ton of spice or flavor. The Boneless Ribs were good but big and kind of tough. And the Beef in the Beef and Mushrooms had a weird consistency. My wife swore it tasted like Seafood also, perhaps the oil they use? Overall it was passable, but not something I would go out of my way for. Our search for great Chinese food in Bellmore continues! Tune in to the next episode to find out what happens to my stomach!

Had 4 fantastic dinners last night. Been my neighborhood favorite for years! We got sweet and sour chicken, lomein, shrimp and veggies, and general Tso's chicken.

Good Chinese food. Nothing spectacular. The dumplings were nice and crispy and the sautéed broccoli was tasty. The roast pork mei fun was kind of bland. The won tons in the won ton soup tasted dry, as if they'd been refrigerated until we called. The fried rice was meh.
