Ellicottville Brewing on Chautauqua

We waited 15 minutes to even order drinks. Several waitresses walked by and no one would acknowledge our trying to get their attention. It is entirely too loud. The food was lukewarm and my son got sick from his shrimp sandwich. Now I see they charged me twice for the meal. I had to leave a voicemail message and so far no return call. The prices are outrageous even for Chautauqua. It's a two trip. One and done.

Been coming here for years and always enjoy it. Great food. Great beers. Prices are on the high end, but the quality mostly justifies it. Never had a bad experience.

The team at EBC was amazing - super knowledgeable and helpful - especially Topper. My favorite spot when I visit CHQ. Thank you!

Great place if 10 stars was an option, they’d have it

Visited with our dogs on a cold, rainy day. The staff setup the outdoor patio for us with heaters and made us feel welcome even though we were the only ones sitting outside. As always, food and beer were good.

Our server was AMAZING, view is beautiful but man are the prices ridiculous.

! Highly recommend the grilled romaine salad, guac app, and pretty much anything on the menu. The beers are fabulous and the atmosphere is too notch!

Have been going here for years but EBC in Bemus Point seems to have settled into an unfortunately mediocre groove with ridiculously high prices. Great beer selection, of course. Not great, not bad, menu. Service is spotty, you may be ignored for a while but then rushed to pay and leave. Sometimes very good entertainment with local musicians. Nice patio, if you can get seated there but good luck if on a busy weekend. No prices on drinks in the menu - telling you the prices are truly outrageous! In the end, an ok place to go if you are a tourist.

Parking: Very little parking. A few spaces next the restaurant but good luck finding parking within 1/2 mile when Bemus Point is hopping.

Great view of the lake and it's a cool place to hang out for a beer. We have been served raw salmon on 2 separate occasions here, however, so we no longer order food at this location.

I recently had a disappointing experience at EBC Chautauqua while celebrating my friend's 30th birthday. We called ahead to inform them of our large group, but when we arrived, the atmosphere was chaotic due to a rehearsal dinner. However the restaurant and bar remained open to the public and was not closed down. The bartenders were extremely unfriendly and even acted annoyed at times to wait on us.

The one male staff member was particularly unprofessional, shoving past us while wiping tables and yelling that we needed to move. This was especially frustrating given that we had just seen him socializing and drinking at another bar before his shift. When we raised our concerns, another staff member joined in, remaining dismissive and even acting annoyed, at one point plugging her ears.

Overall, the lack of respect and professionalism from the staff made for an uncomfortable experience. I hope they can improve their service in the future, however in the past we have not had great experiences at this location. We will not be returning at all due to this experience we had.

Stopped in and sat outside. Drinks and atmosphere are very good. Ordered my burger rare. Came out looking like a charcoal cake. Sent it back. Came out again medium well. Ate it and took the L. Wife’s plate was good. Just stay way from the red meat here I guess.

They did comp the burger which is a plus. I’d come back for drinks and apps….
