We have always enjoyed stopping into Ellicottville Brewing while visiting Bemus Point. It’s a nice atmosphere and good beer.
We’ve loved the calamari for years and looked forward to having it, that is until last year. It seems they changed the calamari or where they get it from to a lesser quality (but the price went up significantly). The quality is terrible compared to the previous calamari. We went back this year hoping it was just a one-time thing but it’s even worse...
Visited with our dogs on a cold, rainy day. The staff setup the outdoor patio for us with heaters and made us feel welcome even though we were the only ones sitting outside. As always, food and beer were good.
Have been going here for years but EBC in Bemus Point seems to have settled into an unfortunately mediocre groove with ridiculously high prices. Great beer selection, of course. Not great, not bad, menu. Service is spotty, you may be ignored for a while but then rushed to pay and leave. Sometimes very good entertainment with local musicians. Nice patio, if you can get seated there but good luck if on a busy weekend. No prices on drinks in the menu - telling you the prices are...
