I ordered prime rib, med rare, was well done, potatoes were cold as well as vegetables. My husband's meal was also cold. There were maybe three other tables, so they weren't busy.

If you try to use the Erie Fine Dining card, they’ll tell you they don’t know what it is or how it’s used. We were barhopping through the raindrops last weekend so we probably would have gone anyway. It was just annoying that there is no effort to be put in for the one meal get one free option. Otherwise food was good and service was amicable - but Pier 14 is better.

Fish was slimy and sent back. Crab legs were rubbery and cold with no seasoning or flavoring. Prime rib was dry and served with no au jus. Not sure who manages or cooks here but not good at all. Do these restaurants owners even pay attention what food they are putting out? Headed to the green door for chicken wings now. Food is great there.

Nice little bar/pub right on Chautauqua Lake. Service downstairs and outside was great. Shrimp tacos prepared nicely and the beer was cold.

We keep coming back to try The Fish every summer seasons in hopes that the food has changed but every year, have been disappointed because it hasn’t. If the quality of the food/menu was better, this would be the place to be!!! Because otherwise, the atmosphere is amazing especially with being directly on the water. We suggest this as a place to have drinks. The extra 2 stars is for the atmosphere.
Also- minimal gluten free options which is also disappointing.
Would not recommend. I ordered the ginger shrimp bowl. What I got was a big bowl of salty fried rice with 6 shrimp on top. Menu said fried rice, Asian slaw, and sauce but apparently all cooked together. My husband liked his chicken bowl. A fly wouldn't leave us alone and water was in plastic cups. We have been here many times before so expected so much more. Terribly disappointing.

Unfortunately our experience at the Fish was our worst restaurant experience to date. I work in the restaurant industry and I have never sent back a meal until today. We ordered two french onion soups and two burgers. The Cheese on one of the soups was burnt to a crisp, and both of the burgers contained questionable patties with half cooked vegetables and loads of grease. The chips that were on the side were also those from a bag. We will not be returning.

This place is cute and definitely has awesome vibes, but the food made both me and my husband pretty sick. Nobody wants their dinner with a side of hours of nausea.
Maybe just go for a drink and soak in the lakeshore atmosphere, but I would recommend skipping the fish fry.

This was once a favored stop of ours along a long road trip, but the service, cleanliness, and food has fallen a long way. Last I visited I became nauseous after having the fish fry and lobster bisque. It’s really too bad because it is a prime spot with a nice view.

Overcharged my card $30. Left $30 cash tip, handed to waitress. I wonder if it was intentional. Check your statements! Never had an issue with the previous owner (Italian Fisherman). Also the food was just ok.
