“I have had the pleasure of eating dinner 5 times at Mazar Kabob. The experience has been consistently Excellent. The food is delicious, the staff is personable, gracious and friendly. The ambience is pleasant and conducive to quiet conversation where you do not have to shout across the table. Love the fact that you can eat a vegetarian meal or enjoy one of the many meat offerings. There are many good restaurants in Glen Cove and IMHO, this is one of the very best. It also is Halal and you can BYOB. Do not hesitate to bring your whole family to this remarkable restaurant.“

“This place is a hidden gem under new management food is excellent and husband and wife owners are very pleasent and respectful. Authentic afghan food from herat. Food is always freshly prepared and delivered quick. This review pertains to samovar it has since changed under new ownership not good as before.“

“My husband and I went on dates here. That was about 1970. I try to spend my birthday at Kabul, even tho my husband died in 2020. Delicious tradition. Have brought many friends here over the years. The quality of the food, and the delightful seasoning have been constants since we first had dinner there.“

“Really good food. Enjoyed every bite of it. Had the beef kofta and lamb with rice and salad. They have some seating. Clean tables. At the time there were a few families inside with kids but behaved. Located on a main Street. Parking is somewhat limited.

“Open till late. Very generous portions so feel like you get value for money. Friendly staff, gave us extra (was near closing time) and let us sample the chai before buying.

They also have what looks like wudu station in restroom and prayer mats.“
