B.K. Sweeny's Parkside Tavern

A fun tavern/Pub with great food, and a warm atmosphere. Food and drinks are amazing. There is a cash discount if you pay with Cash as opposed to Card. This place is a favorite amongst locals like myself. Service is amazing, food was amazing, beers on tap are amazing. I order the sante fe salad with steak and blue cheese almost every time I go there. The crispy tortilla shell is to die for. Plenty of options for people with dietary restrictions

I can’t recommend this place enough. We had a change in our reservation and were accommodated seamlessly and kindly; especially from Damien and Reilly. The food was super fresh and tasty. Everything was the perfect temperature which is a pet peeve in my family. The drink were strong and fabulous which was needed after the day we had.

A bit dark when sitting down. My utensils were not EVEN WASHED. Totally turned me off. Getting served was quite a wait. Food was ok a bit dry not juicey. Will not be going back.

had a gift certificate from a relative and decided today was the day although we brought our 3 year old who is hot and cold as always haha. Had a waiter in charge of tonight 5/19/24 which what looks like the family/kids section. Didn’t catch his name. Black hair and glasses. Anyhoo was so attentive to the little things and already knew as we were asking for certain things such as “Hey can her pasta with butter come out with our drinks/appetizer and our entree come out with her ice cream” like a PRO! While we were hanging out, I saw him do the same with several other tables with kids and families, etc. etc. Definitely coming back when we can! He was outstanding!

We started off with the French Onion soup which was incredible! Our drink of choice was a Hot Toddy, so good. I ordered the sandwich in the picture, forgot the name. Got sweet potatoe fries. My husband ordered the Chicken Cordon Blue. It came out very dry. The waiter took it back and my husband ended up getting the pene alla vodka with shrimp, yummers. We ended with the carrot cake, so good!!

Walked in with some friends and despite the crowd, we were quickly seated without issue. Ordered their limited menu lamb stew and was absolutely blown away, I even ordered it again to go. Would love to come back here again.
