Been going to Jackie Reilly’s for years. Know Sean: the wonderful owner. His Bar-Staff; great and caring. I remembered going to Wimbledons;and Weekenf at Bernie’s at the same location.
After asking for recommendations, we ended up at Jackie Reilly's on Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage on Saturday night. No pics, but we ordered a chicken quesadilla and teriyaki steak special, with gorgonzola, mash, and vegetables. The special also came with a salad. We sat at the bar, and the bartender offered to bring out the quesadilla and salad first, and the special on its own. Everything was AMAZING, and it was INCREDIBLY reasonable. We each had two drinks, plus the quesadilla...
We had lunch there last week and enjoyed our meal very much. Our neighbor recommended it to us, said the food was really good and we had to try their French Onion soup, which we did and it was yummy. We'd never eaten there before, I had always assumed it was more of a bar than a restaurant, I was wrong. They have a very nice dining room with lots of tables and cozy booths.
