We love Popei's, and returned with friends who now love it too. The food is delicious, and everyone is so nice. We can't wait to go back.

The food and service were fantastic. The drinks were delicious and a great deal for the price. They had live entertainment and lots of people out in the tent so it was very energetic and a little loud but I didn't really care. I just spoke a little bit louder with my guests.  I have making this place my second home during the summer. Really great food and friendly service.

This was my first time at Popei's and I was pleased with everything. The food was prepared with love, the portions were plentiful, the service, especially Shelby, was outstanding and the price was right. My husband commented that Popei's reminded him of Cheers. A nice, homey place where everyone knows your name and we were treated as if they knew us too. A great experience overall.
After a glorious beach day, we headed to Popeis Clam Bar in Bethpage to celebrate the birthdays of my girlfriend's two daughters—and what a perfect ending it turned out to be! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm, friendly service. The seafood was outstanding—lobster, clams, and big steaming pots packed with flavor. Truly delicious and generous portions. The highlight? I asked for a slice of tiramisu with two candles, and not only did the staff pull it off, but everyone—staff and guests—joined in singing happy birthday. Such a fun, thoughtful touch that made the night unforgettable. Great food, amazing service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel part of the family. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up the day!

The food and service was excellent. We each (3) had the fried flounder, salad, and baked potato. The salads were freshly made and the fish was fresh, moist, and nicely crunchy. We had the cannoli for dessert and they were fresh and delicious also. This was the first visit for 2 of us and has created a new fan so we ALL will be coming back.

Totally amazing. Joe, the owner is one of the hardest working people you'll meet. He's always there, he's cooking, he takes time to visit every table and speak with you. He's an all-around sincere and authentic person. All of the staff are the nicest of nice. Never disappointed with the service and we've been here so many times, I couldn't count. Even when we have family or friends come from out of town, this is where we take them. They have anything and everything. Starting with cocktails, always great. Your basket of garlic bread when you sit is amazing, you'll know what I mean when you try it. Something for everyone. Steaks, lobster, crabs, mussels, clams, all the fish you can ask for. Italian food fantastic, great sauce. Soups, salads, sides all amazing. Even a menu for the little ones. Prices are totally reasonable, definitely not a ripoff place like many today. Indoor and outdoor seating enclosed. Music outdoors and televisions. Joe worked hard for all this success. Make reservations and while parking is not large, there is valet and street parking, never an issue. Enjoy!
