We had another delicious meal at Popei's Clam Bar! Sorry no pictures but the stuffed founder was delicious and enough for two people as they give you 2 huge filets! From appetizers to dessert A++++. The waitress Katie and rest of the staff are top notch!

My family has been going here for over 20 years. Never disappoints. I even order an old time item that is no longer on the menu. No issues preparing for me. In fact the owner and waiters all say "old-timer" when they see the seafood pie I am eating. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for a lobster dinner, this is always the place to go. We were a group of four who all ate different meals and everything was delicious. The service was great and we weren't rushed through dinner at all. This wasn't our first visit and we will go back again soon

The restaurant week menu was an excellent value. Service was outstanding. Wait staff was very friendly. The food was perfect and plentiful. I usually take home a doggie bag, but the flounder was so good I had to finish it even though I was full.

Delicious restaurant, one of my favorites not only for the food but also the homey, fun atmosphere. I haven't been here in 5 years and used to go frequently when I lived in the area. Coming back, I recognized many of the workers and the food/drink quality and taste has not wavered and was exactly as I remember it. My favorite drink (the Bada Bing) seems to have been taken off the menu but luckily I had a photo of the menu from previous years and they were able to recreate it. We had the Cajun crab boil— they didn't have Dungeness crab but had South African sweet crab instead which was DELICIOUS! I look forward to returning soon!

We've been coming to Popeis for years, and it's safe to say it's become our second home. The food is consistently outstanding fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated but it's the people who keep us coming back week after week. The staff know us by name, remember our favorite dishes (and our quirks!), and always greet us with genuine warmth. Whether it's a quiet dinner for two or a lively gathering with friends, they make every visit feel special. Service is seamless ,attentive without being intrusive, and always delivered with a smile. And then there's Joe, the heart and soul of the place. They're often on the floor, chatting with guests, checking in on meals, and making sure everything runs smoothly. Their passion for hospitality is contagious, and it shows in every detail. It's rare to find a restaurant that nails both the culinary and the personal experience, but Popeis does it effortlessly. We're proud to be regulars, and grateful to be part of their extended family.
