Joe and his staff go above and beyond to give you an excellent dining experience, the food is amazing the drinks are on point, and the deserts are excellent. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.Every time we are in NY we make it a point to stop here.

Been here a couple of times. Huge, huge menu. Something for everyone. We started with an order of fried calamari. Quite good. My friend ordered a sampler appetizer for her main course. I asked if they could give me, a combo of fried shrimps and clams. They happily accommodated. My food and french fries were delicious. And please don't forget about the garlic bread they serve. I filled up on it and had to bring most of my food home. The restaurant was very busy and I saw many people ordered whole lobsters, that tells me something. The tables are closer than I'd like them to be. Nice server, friendly but I felt a bit inattentive. Perhaps she was just giving us time. Either way, it was an enjoyable nite. Not an inexpensive place, but I think for what you receive, reasonable. I would return again.

We love going to Popei's . The food is always plentiful and very good. I had the seared Ahi Tuna, it was cooked a perfect rare. The prices are very reasonable, and the service is always with a smile, We will continue to go back.

Food and service was excellent. Parking is a nightmare. Fortunately, the host/manager was nice enough to get our car from the shopping center next door before it was towed. Dinner prices seem to start at $30+ per plate. It's amazing how expensive dinner out has become.

We had a reservation and were sat immediately. The staff was courteous, efficient and very friendly, The meals were brought out quickly & the drinks generously poured. The only issue was with one of the dinners. I ordered the 11oz lobstertail and it was tasteless and somewhat mushy-maybe frozen too long. all else was very enjoyable.

Another excellent meal at Popei's. We were treated so well, if we were low on bread or drink our server was there to refresh/refill. The best fried calamari on Long Island. We are served so much delicious food that we always take half home to enjoy the next day. Can't wait for our next visit!
