I had mentioned to a friend that I wish we had better options for Chinese food locally, and she recommended Shanghai Express. The food was super good, cute little resturaunt, and the owners seemed really sweet! Definitely the best Chinese food that we’ve had locally in a really long time!
One of the best Chinese restaurants around for miles! Best crab rangoon in the area. We've been eating here for years now..I have noticed a change in the texture of the meat. It's still tasty but the meat has basically no texture, almost disintegrates in your mouth without chewing...not a fan. This is within the last year or so. Their soups are really good as well as the appetizers.
We decided to give this place a shot as we enjoy Chinese/Asian cuisine. We were pretty disappointed. The portions were similar to other places, but the flavors were all off. The C13.左宗鸡 General Tso's Chicken was just sweet with no spice. The 鍋貼或水餃 / Steamed or Fried Dumpling (8 Pieces) that we got fried were super soggy. The 43. 水煮三样 Steamed Chicken, Shrimp & Scallop with Garden Vegetable was rough. I know it was low salt and oil but it was beyond...
