Cozy atmosphere, beautiful views, and wonderful service!
The décor feels warm and inviting, with a gorgeous view of nature. Service is outstanding — welcoming, friendly, and accommodating — and it’s pet-friendly too.
We stayed at the Eastwind Hotel for the weekend and had dinner twice at their on-site restaurant, Dandelion. Not only is it convenient, but the food is tasty and the service consistently excellent. A perfect complement to a relaxing stay!

Incredible meal for the 10 of us. Such a magical location and evening. Couldn’t ask for a better meal or service! Had no idea such a beautiful location existed here. Feel like I need to come back and stay!

their smoked trout dip and hanger steak was delicious. my only wish is that they would also serve lunch! :)
The food and, especially, the service do not live up to the price. First, they completely ignored the dietary restrictions that we informed them about when we reserved. Second, they did not acknowledge the event that we also indicated that we were celebrating. Our server was overconfident in her ability to remember the order of a table of 4 and immediately messed up our drink order. Our table had mixed thoughts on the food. Some loved it, others thought it was so so. Bottom line is that the service and food do not justify the prices they charge.

Dandelion offers a welcoming atmosphere that immediately sets a positive tone for your dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance strikes a nice balance between casual and refined, making it comfortable whether you're grabbing a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely meal after a day of exploring.
The menu features solid, well-prepared dishes that deliver on expectations without necessarily exceeding them. I opted for one of their pasta dishes, which was generously portioned and attractively presented. However, I found the seasoning to be heavy-handed – the pasta was noticeably oversalted, which masked some of the other flavors in the dish.
What impressed me most was how the wait staff handled this issue. When I mentioned the saltiness, they were genuinely apologetic and quickly offered to remake the dish or suggest an alternative. This level of attentive, professional service really elevated the overall experience and showed they care about customer satisfaction.
As the primary dining option for guests staying at the Eastwind Hotel, Dandelion could easily rest on its captive audience. Instead, they've created a restaurant that stands on its own merits. While the food may not be destination-worthy, it's certainly satisfying and well-executed. The combination of pleasant atmosphere, reliable cuisine, and excellent service makes for a dining experience that leaves you content, if not completely wowed.

We arrived just before the kitchen was closing and appreciated that the staff still welcomed us. Based on the glowing reviews, we had high hopes—but unfortunately, the experience fell far short. The ceviche was under-seasoned, and the chicken dish was overwhelmingly salty, served only with a handful of mixed greens and no substantial side. The vegan pesto pasta, made with “wild greens,” was inedible. While we weren’t charged for the pasta, our total bill still exceeded $100. We left feeling hungry, disappointed, and honestly, a bit ripped off. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this place didn’t live up to the hype. I’d recommend dining elsewhere.

The service was great - one of the few restaurants near the Full Moon resort that was open Tuesdays. The entree was a Halloumi salad very delicious especially the strawberries and the dressing. My wife had the brick chicken and this was good size and also delicious however the accompanying vegetable was not great. I had the fish and while it was sitting on a delicious salad the fish was such a small portion for the price - I mean small like a child’s serving. The dessert was a Lemon slice which was amazing we both loved it so much and the accompanying cream delicately balanced the tart of the lemon. The ambience of the place was reflective of the setting. But what made the night was the amazing service from the moment we walked in until the moment we left we have nothing but high praise. Suggestions - with the chicken have some baked vegetables and for the fish at least three portions if they are going to be that size. I would go back for the salad and dessert and the service. I hope the chef can make the changes and then it would be a hit.

Natasha, our server in the dandelion restaurant was energetic and super nice. She was a great resource for things to do in the area. The food at the dandelion was surprisingly good. And the drinks, particularly the rum drink, was delicious and well balanced. The lemon tart dessert was amazing and this is coming from someone who doesn’t like lemon desserts. They could definitely have some more pescatarian and vegetarian options.

Cozy atmospheric restaurant with a fireplace. Pet friendly. Beautiful set. Delicious food. Parking lot. Romantic atmosphere. Burger and steak were tasty 🤤
We had a wonderful time here! The food and service were awesome. Came here with kids and they loved it. Will definitely visit again
Very nice place!
Beautiful Setting, Poor Execution
The ambiance was amazing, but the food and service were a letdown. My wife’s roasted chicken looked good but was undercooked and raw in the middle, while my burger had a decent patty but came with a cold, uninspired bun. When we raised the issue, the chef refused to take responsibility, insisting the chicken was cooked properly without apologizing or offering a proper solution.
The saving grace was the bartender, who later apologized for the entire experience and service. She comped a couple of excellent cocktails for us to enjoy in the sauna, showing the professionalism the kitchen sorely lacked. Despite sending back the inedible chicken, we were still charged the full amount, which felt like an insult.
Stunning setting, but a deeply disappointing experience.
