Absolutely delicious food and nice vegetarian and vegan options. Service was spot on and everything was brought out in a timely manner. They don't skimp on portion size either. Highly recommended!

We went to the Peekamoose for dinner while spending a long weekend in the Catskills with a group of 10 people. The service was phenomenal and the food was EXCELLENT and prepared perfectly. We were seated in a private section and the atmosphere is warm. We highly recommend!

So a little about me. I have lived in NY all my life and have been all over the world and love food. The food here is amazing, it's literally cooked with passion and love. The chef takes pride in his art and you can taste it. The octopus was fantastic with a blend of taste and Balance, the sales are superb the local chicken was moist flavorful and hardy.....The steamed carrot cake is to die for. Thank you to Josie the great server that gave us recommendations. We will be back!

My wife and I went to the Peekamoose for our anniversary dinner while spending a long weekend in the Catskills. The food was excellent and creative. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere is warm with a variety of really cool artwork. We highly recommend!

Everything is outstanding! The menu and service are first class. We shared a charcuterie plate, grilled cucumbers with feta and mint, gnudi, roasted carrots and pork loin.

This is our go-to date night restaurant. The menu changes constantly so you always get to try something fresh, new, & delicious. We come here about 4 times a year. Every single time we leave, we can't wait to come back. Our most recent visit was last night for our anniversary. The bread & herb butter is to die for, we usually get two loafs. We got 2 appetizers, the octopus & the carmelized onion tart. I swear by the octopus and my bf swears by the onion tart. We got into a debate over it and neither of us would budge so we agreed to disagree on which was better. Which leads me to the dinner itself, I got the steak which was amazing, tender, & juicy as always. My boyfriend made a last minute decision for the chicken and we were mind blown by this dish. The skin was buttery and crispy, the meat was melt in your mouth juicy. The potatoes & gravy alone would make anyone happy. After dinner, my boyfriend proposed to me over dessert! He got the receptionist to take sneaky pictures so I wouldn't notice what was happening, we got deliciously bubbly complimentary champagne. The staff and our waiter were so nice and personable. Our waiter was very knowledgeable on every part of the menu from drinks all the way to dessert. This is our favorite restaurant and now a part of our life story. I cannot give enough recommendations or stars. Thank you for a wonderful evening

One of my favorites in the area! It's the place we choose for celebration dinners and also bringing out of town guests when we aren't eating at home. The food is always impressive and the atmosphere is wonderful in the different spaces. I love that when we go with kids, they have little play spaces they can escape to to burn off excess energy. That reminds me of bars and restaurants in Europe! But it's by no means a "kiddie" restaurant. It's elegant, not noisy and obnoxious, and I think the child escape zones help maintain a great dining/bar space for the grown ups.
The food is always perfect and the cocktails are fabulous as well.
Also another note: I actually prefer to bring vegetarian and vegan friends here so that I don't have to worry about their dietary needs and I know the food is great no matter what types of food everyone at the table eats! I actually order some of the vegan dishes myself because they're just so delicious and complex, unlike many other American restaurants' vegetarian options.

Delicious food and cocktails. They were crowded with the Labor Day weekend, but the servers did an amazing job! We could tell they were swamped, but they made sure to check on us and even got us a second bread!

Arrived in town and I mentioned to our Airbnb host we were looking for farm to table. No power and they had a generator and we ate by candle light and some lights. The food was amazing as well as the service. We will be back!

What an absolutely delightful experience, start to finish - from the lovely hostess who patiently walked us through the patio spaced the main dining room and the pub to help us assess where we wanted to sit, to our helpful waiter who guided us to excellent choices, to the tasty and creative menu items and beautiful room. We found several vegetarian items on the menu that were so delicious, not the lazy “here’s your caprese and bland primavera.” And while not cheap, the price was less than I expected for this high-quality experience.

The food was tasty but seemed very expensive to this tourist, and I am from a very high cost of living area. Dinner for four, no alcoholic drinks, with four desserts and tip, $300. I debated whether to give the service three or four stars. The runners were clearly very stressed and in a hurry. Our server was nice but seemed more attentive to other diners. This restaurant is very dark. Handicap accessibility is a bit challenging. The bread was super delicious and free which is very nice. Would go back maybe once a year and order something less expensive.

So we got one of the worst seats in the restaurant. Near kitchen and entry. Waiters and customers passing by us on two sides at least a hundred times. I would never sit there again. I would just walk out. The food on the other hand was fantastic. Service was good and bad. One waiter good the other new. We did wait too long for one of my drinks while my wife already had hers. Service was somewhat erratic. I would definitely go again as long as I had a better seat.
Parking: Lot too small when restaurant busy
Kid-friendliness: There were a good number of kids.
