I had a great time celebrating my daughter’s birthday dinner at your restaurant. Kira was amazing the way she was able to serve a party of 9, she handle her self well and was very accommodating. I will be returning I highly recommend anyone to try this place out if you haven’t yet.

We visited Downtown by Chef Jay on Valentines Day. They just started their new lunch menu and it did not disappoint. So many scrumptious items to chose from. Each item we tried was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was really peaceful and our server Erica was a pleasure.
I would highly recommend an outing to this restaurant...top notch all around. Jay Pisculli is one of the best chefs in our area ~

Chef Haggen was one of the most wonderful chefs I have ever had. Not only was the food perfectly prepared, but he also came out to the table to introduce himself. The service was impeccable. I could not have asked for a better experience. I will absolutely come back here every time I come to NY.

We made our first trip to Downtown by Chef Jay Pisculli this week but it won't be our last. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Service is fast and friendly. And the food is delicious. Try the crispy deviled eggs. What a unique twist on a classic dish. We highly recommend this restaurant. Try it; you won't be disappointed.
My expectations were high and I left disappointed. Resulting in a second birthday dinner at another establishment at fraction of the cost. Burger tasteless- maybe it needed the carmelized onions idk. My husband loved the octopus , and his meal Didn’t even get dessert- 🏃🏾♀️

Where to begin?! We rented out the rooftop area for a retirement reception. Everything was absolutely amazing. Melissa helped get the party all set, her and Chef Jay worked on the menu for us, and the service staff was amazing (the downside to the rooftop area is that the servers and food runners have to climb all those stairs!)! From the moment we walked in the door, everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Erica was our bartender and was incredible...her service was fast, she talked to each guest and suggested drinks suited to their taste, was friendly and kept the entire area clear of dishes, glasses, etc. The food was phenomenal and priced excellently, especially considering the amount and quality of food that we received. We will absolutely keep Down by Chef Jay in mind for future events (both business and personal). We could not be more pleased with our event.
