I spent 47 minutes trying to place an online order so it would be ready when I arrived but the options was stupid! I decided to drive to the location and This place was HARD to find being that it’s actually inside of a church! I was able to figure it out when a customer was exiting the side door of the church holding a bag of food. I went inside and the owner/cook rudely told me i needed to order online because all she does is online orders. I explained that I attempted to do just that and she got more attitude because i asked her why couldn’t i just pay her in cash since im right in front of her! After a few more seconds of giving me attitude despite being a new potential customer i just left her in mid-speech and waved her off saying I’ll spend my hard earned money elsewhere! I have high cholesterol AND blood pressure so i don’t need to be eating that crappy food anyway AND if i ever open a business i will treat EVERY customer with the utmost respect!

This food and restaurant is exactly what this area has been missing. The food was absolutely phenomenal the fish seasoned and fried to perfection. The rice and the beans just simply amazing the macaroni and cheese was perfect and scrumptious. 10/10 I recommend 100%. I ordered the soul rolls but I’m still just flabbergasted on how good the food was. I don’t even wanna try. the soul roll yet. This is the type of place that we as a community needs to support and keep open. Let’s help them thrive. This is the best food that our area has hands down right now.

I'm here working, I live in Arizona so I know tacos. I got the 3 chicken tacos with dip sauce and the street corn. These are some of the best chicken tacos I've ever had. The crunch is everything, the sauce is really good. The street corn is 10/10. If you are in Binghamton definitely try this young lady the food is excellent!

10/10 If you're hungry you won't be when you've had one of their meals. The food is worth the price. The portion you get is enough to take some for lunch the next day. I ordered the 6pc chicken meal and the chicken had just enough crispiness. The mac n cheese was delicious. It's hard to get good candied yams and Collard greens. The yams were so delicious, and when I tell you the Collard greens are the best around. 😋🤤 I will be ordering again.

Got the Fried Fish with mashed potatoes and Fried Okra side, great meal loved the seasoning on the fish, the buttery mash, and the fried okra were all excellent. She's an outstanding lady and a hard worker, add the good food and you have a great business!

Her food is amazing. My favorite is her fried chicken and beef birria. The portions are very generous. Macaroni and cheese to deviled eggs. Outstanding.

Had to wait 15 minutes past the time I was told the food would be ready only for it to be dropped on the floor by the clearly stoned guy who just sits there while the woman works. On top of that, that was evidently the last order of the Mac and cheese, so I was just S.O.L.
I just left without saying another word

Hands down one of the best soul food I have eaten and that’s coming from someone who is from nyc. My friend and I were visiting and were excited to see there was soul food in the area and gave it a shot. The owner makes the food fresh herself and it is amazing. She is extremely friendly and kind as well. Also the portions are HUGE :) 100% recommend.

Very delicious food and amazing customer service!!

One of the few places that I would recommend eating in Binghamton. I had the potato salad and it was amazing. The chicken was juicy and warm. The cornbread was BEAUTIFUL. Honestly I dream of this food since I had it. This would be great post-drinking food if that was something you were into (and they were opened late... maybe pregame food?). If it were opened more days, I would probably be obese. I have not had any of the dessert options yet, but my meal was pretty great. I wish I could do pick up over delivery because I am literally nearby sometimes, but it is a ghost kitchen.

They are literally never open even on days they are suppose to be! Their food is actually good for Binghamton area at least and you could never get it. lol please start being open you guys are already closed majority of the week.
