We made it to Hex&Hop just for their fresh pizzas. Tried some samples and ended with their fruity sour and the coffee forward ale. Yummy pizza, good ale, outdoor love music, lots of board games and great staff all made up for an amazing experience. Highly recommend this place.
Quite honestly the best pizza and brews in the area. Thanks for making delicious pizza and brews in this food desert!
I love the vibe, the beer, and nachos! Six years- open and we just found this brewery and tap room. Thank goodness :D
Good mead, large chair.

Love each visit
Excellent beer, excellent pizza, excellent vibes. This place is awesome and is a must visit for anyone in the saranac lake area. Can't wait to go back!
Not only does Hex and Hop have great beer, but their food is also fantastic. I appreciate the creative food truck events, and outdoor seating is an added plus in the warmer months. Plan your next night out around Hex and Hop, and you won't be disappointed!
The best people and beer!
Fairly good brew selection and the food is surprisingly good.
Hex & Hop is a total local gem! If you're in the mood for killer brews and great vibes this place is a must-visit. My personal go-to is the Moose Jam sour paired with their pretzel bites & beer cheese. 🤤
The crew here is super welcoming, and it's very family friendly. Whether it's live music, trivia nights, or one of their quirky events, there's always something going down. Don't forget to snag a 4-pack or crowler to-go—you'll thank yourself later!

Very good prices on the food menu. Beer is awesome, but very pricey if you take it to go.
The atmosphere was nice, the staff was friendly, the beer was good. The problem was the food. We ordered two grilled cheese sandwiches that had almost no cheese; the key ingredient that separates a grilled cheese sandwich from two pieces of toast, I think we can all agree. Insult to injury, we were each charged for a topping that was supposed to be included in the price according to the menu. I didn’t expect a lot— but I expected more than that. I’ll be back for the beer but not for the food.
Terrible beer and even worse mead. Can’t recommend.
Driving across what the locals call North Country on my way to my campsite for the night, I stopped here for beer, wifi and dinner. Hex & Hop was a very pleasant stop with great friendly service and a few chats with some of the locals. They had loud live music which I didn't care for, but other sure did. A few rousing sounds including Sweet Caroline, Country Roads and even The Star Spangled Banner got my fellow beer drinkers to participate. So it's not all about me.
I tried the hefeweizen and didn't care for it but the Smitty Pils was excellent. I consumed two of those with the day's special pizza "Put A Pep In Your Step."
The beers were great, sitting at the bar was great, the pizza was great (and has leftovers!) and my only ding was the loud live music.
The beer is REALLY good. Limited food menu, but everything is excellent.
