Poor service, our party of 4 waited over 20 min for someone to come after being seated. No one ever came after asking the hostess if there was a waitress waiting on us?Finally had to get up and walk out only to find 3 waitresses and the hostess chit chatting at the door. Told them we’re leaving and she didn’t really care.

The worst dinner ever. Took 20 min for someone to come over and that’s after me going up To the hostess asking for a waiter. Food was horrible Dead bugs and ants all over and the women’s room had poop everywhere in both stalls was filthy. Told them and they looked at me and said yea and. Never again

Beautiful location and nice atmosphere. However, there are exposed wires and outlets with no covers in the back room where our party and some children were placed. I ordered the steak tips that were not cooked well, the mash potatoes were disgusting (possibly missing milk or boxed mash), and the Mac and cheese dish was over cooked that it seem like my nephew was eating soup. Pictures were taking outside in the gardens that were absolutely beautiful. A server that was cleaning up another parties table snapped at us while Pictures were begin taken instead of politely asking us to move.

The view is stunning and located in a perfect spot. You can boat right up to the dock and are met with friendly faces to help the docking experience. The service is pretty good, but the food is nothing special. You are definitely paying for the view, not the food. It is not terrible, just overpriced for the quality.

Reserved the outside table for 4 a month ahead for my wife’s birthday. We were seated at the farthest table on the deck which was nice, except our waitress forgot about us, 45 minutes after drinks were brought, we decided to leave and pay the bill. Wife was very disappointed, but we didn’t have time for a 2+ hour dinner with bad service.

The views at this waterfront restaurant are truly spectacular—no argument there. It’s a beautiful setting, perfect for enjoying a drink or catching a sunset. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the ambiance.

I ordered the bruschetta chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was supposed to be grilled, but it came out tasting more like it had been poached—soft, lacking any char or flavor you’d expect from grilling. The mashed potatoes were watery and bland, and the green beans didn’t add much to the plate.

We also tried the birria mac and cheese, which sounded like a winning combination but was a major disappointment. The mac and cheese was watery, not gooey at all—especially surprising with birria, which should add richness and depth.

For the price, I expected a much better dining experience. It feels like you’re paying for the view, not the food. A great spot for a drink and the scenery—but I wouldn’t come back for the meal.

The view is unbeatable but the food was below average. Probably the worst BLT I've ever had. It had wilted, dark lettuce too. The drink tasted very watered down.

Saw the reviews on this place and just had to go, went for breakfast before continuing to Bolton on the last day of our trip and it was very nice! Five stars from me and my parents! ✯✯✯✯✯

We were staying at Blue Water Manor recently and arrived there later than expected. Rather than searching for other off-site dining options, we decided to save time and have dinner at Tavern on the Lake, which is conveniently located on the resort's own property. Parking is wherever you can find it, and appears to be shared by both resort guests and tavern customers. The tavern was a very short walk from our room and was full of customers when we walked in. We were greeted by the hostess and then guided to the dining room which is in a separate building located a few steps away from the tavern. Outdoor dining with a direct view of the lake is available also. The atmosphere in the dining room was very pleasant and best described as a bit dark, very rustic, and "woodsy". We were seated with menus by the hostess, and our server followed shortly after that to take our beverage orders. Their menu is not extensive for entree selections, and many prices appeared to be higher than expected. Our server came back shortly after that and took our dinner orders of a glazed salmon with mashed potatoes, and a chicken stir fry. Our food was served up approximately 25 minutes later and was served hot. The chicken stir fry was good but nothing outstanding. The salmon was also good, but a bit dry and nothing that would make me want to order it again. The mashed potatoes appeared to be home-made and tasted good. We shared one small-ish piece of pumpkin pie for dessert that tasted good but, again, absolutely nothing that justified the price ($9.00). You could likely buy a whole pie for that price. Our total bill for two entrees, beverages, and the small piece of pumpkin pie totaled roughly $69 plus tax. We can't honestly say that our meals were a real value for that price. While the tavern restaurant is a very convenient dining option for guests staying at Blue Water Manor, it's difficult to justify the menu prices based on quality of the food and portion sizes. The only truly outstanding thing about our visit here was our server, Bre. She was amazing; friendly, very engaging, efficient, available when needed, and very accommodating throughout our meal, so a huge "thank you" to her for giving us something memorable about our dinner here. If you're considering dining here, you may want to review all of your dining options in the surrounding area to make an informed choice. Thanks for reading!

Terrible place. Stay away. Don't bother. I'm kidding, but as it gets more popular, the waits get longer.

We checked in 10 min early. Hostess said go get a drink at bar we will sit u closer to your reservation time. Weird bc we saw how many tables empty for 2 pp. We waited 10 min And went to hostess and she forgot all about us. Waitress was scatter brained, had 5 tables and we waited 20 min for drinks. Hubby went to bar to pick them up and our food came at same time. Food is good but very unorganized venue.
