As others have stated, very unclear pet policy. Told over the phone we could bring our dog depending on size, I told them (<35 pounds, small doodle) and response was its service pet only…? Also surprising for casual outdoor dining on the lake.

The shack at Bolton landing a little ways up was great!

Beautiful spot, incredibly slow service, very unclear pet policy. Decent food, acceptable prices. Limited dock space.

Amazing food.
Quite a romantic ambiance place near Lake George. Good service but it takes time for food.
Though they say no modifications to menu. They do consider allergies.
Overall a Good experience. Loved it. And would like to visit again.

Nice spot. Less popular than some of the other options it appears. Got a spot at the dock quick. Very friendly and helpful staff to guide you in and tie off. Small roped off area at the dock for the kids to swim along with an outdoor play place to keep them stimulated while you enjoy a drink.

Poor service, our party of 4 waited over 20 min for someone to come after being seated. No one ever came after asking the hostess if there was a waitress waiting on us?Finally had to get up and walk out only to find 3 waitresses and the hostess chit chatting at the door. Told them we’re leaving and she didn’t really care.

Haven’t been in a while and was hopeful, but not great. French onion soup, zero flavor a couple of onions. French fries which you usually can’t mess that up, didn’t even taste like fries! The rest of the meal, same, bland and shrimp couldn’t eat, smelled too fishy like it was spoiled. Only positive is waiter was great!
We will stick with the Algonquin- been going for years and haven’t had a single bad meal there yet. Stick with what you know is good. :)

I was looking forward to bringing my family of 9 for dinner to the Tavern. We were very disappointed overall from start the finish. We were seated, given menus and left to sit for 15 minutes with 0 interaction and wait staff walked by our table continually. After I approached the host stand 2x the waiter Evan finally showed up. . He was prompt and courteous. Food was sub par, $30 for a bowl of bolonase pasta - not worth it. Fish and chips not good - could have gotten it at McDonald’s- I guess prices are due to the view but if you desire “good” food definitely find another restaurant. Mgr on staff excused it as staff were working as fast as they could 😫

The worst dinner ever. Took 20 min for someone to come over and that’s after me going up To the hostess asking for a waiter. Food was horrible Dead bugs and ants all over and the women’s room had poop everywhere in both stalls was filthy. Told them and they looked at me and said yea and. Never again
