“So glad that one of the smarter people I was in a weekend ski house with decided to call this place, since the google said it was closed on a Tuesday afternoon in February. “Great place for a bite on a sunny summer day. This spot is magical and presents the absolute best view of Lake George. The food is good and the service is what you expect from the 5 star team at The Sagamore. The only downside is the lack of parking on the premises for non hotel guests.Parking: Paid parking lot available if there's plenty of space for hotel guests. Otherwise, you have to park outside of the island and walk in”

“I had the regular French toast and it was delicious! Sweet but not overly so. Bacon and eggs were cooked perfectly. Really good coffee, the atmosphere is cute and quirky, very much recommend this place to year round locals or visitors.”

“The Eggplant Parmigiana was super delicious, so we came back the next night for more! This time, we had the Eggplant Rollatini, Greek Salad and Stuffed Veggie Slice and they were all great! Only negative is that the Meatballs + Spaghetti only had 2 meatballs. While delicious, 2 meatballs don't really make a meal (regardless of how much spaghetti comes with it! :))”

“Spectacular pot pies. The crust….oh my gosh, so flaky and buttery and savory. I dream about that crust now. The filling was so thick and rich with lots of big tender chicken chunks. I don’t even normally like pot pies but these have changed my mind. I will only ever get them here though! We ordered pies for all our Thanksgiving guests. It was the perfect all in one feast, requiring no side dishes and no work and no clean up! Best Thanksgiving ever! We also ordered the deviled eggs which were a huge hit, and apple pies which were perfect and homemade. I will always think to J Gallup for Thanksgiving from now on! It made hosting a zero stress event. I’m so grateful to the ladies for their tremendous amount of work making these homemade dishes. Everything was ready to go, exactly right, on Wednesday for pickup. I could not be more thrilled with the entire experience. Many, many thanks!!!!!!”

“Located within the Sagamore hotel, Mr. Brown's is a fantastic pub right on property. The restaurant has a very Adirondack feel to it decor wise, the food was solid and the service was absolutely amazing. I haven't had a service experience this good in a long time, we will definitely be back!”

“Honestly the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had! Definitely in my top 3 of cheeseburgers I absolutely loved! Definitely recommend 5 stars all the way around! My burger was cooked perfectly, I love the bun they use, and the fries were just the cherry on top! Just thinking about it is making my mouth water!”
