“We tried The Gem tonight and we were not disappointed. Friendly service from start to finish. We chose wings as our appetizer and two draft beers! The wings were crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. For our main course, we selected the smoked brisket with potato salad and baked beans as our sides. This was by far the best smoked brisket we have had. We ended the meal with the sticky toffee pudding and vanilla ice cream 😍. Head to The Gem for a great meal!”

“We found the Bear’s Cup this past week while we were in Bolton Landing. Had breakfast sandwiches there twice during our time there and took home a dozen bagels when we were leaving. “Are here for dinner and lunch a few times while staying at the resort. The salmon I had for dinner dinner one evening was cooked perfectly medium rare. Delicious. For lunch, we had pizza each time we ate there paired with salads. The pizza at this restaurant is the best I've ever had. It is thin crust and has the perfect blend of cheese and sauce. So light and delicious, it's hard to stop eating it. The service is also top notch, very professional but friendly. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.”

“Cates is truly a gem in Bolton Landing! From the moment we walked in, the experience was absolutely wonderful. The hostess was incredibly sweet and welcoming—it instantly made us feel at home and honestly made us want to come back again before we even sat down.
The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything we tried was delicious, and it’s easy to see why this place is such a staple in the area.

The service is another reason I love this place. Tim, the bartender, always makes sure my drinks are perfect. “Really really great bruschetta, everything tasted fresh. Vodka sauce was so good, we ordered the penne 2 days in a row on vacation. They also sell Lion Farm Cookies at the checkout and those s’mores cookies were out of this world! The staff were all very friendly also.
