“My husband loved his garlic and oil spaghetti. My chicken sandwich and fries were good. Staff was very friendly and make you feel welcome as you are greeted when arriving and leaving.”
“Food & drinks: What a great spot in the middle of north country in the Adirondacks! The bar/restaurant offers much more than just a bar joint but also pool, darts, jukebox, QuickDraw. I have tried few food items such as the burgers, turkey club, and the pizza! All have been great. Highly recommend all those choices. Bartenders are always friendly and provide great service.”
“Been coming here for over 30 years. Food is classic Italian and always good. Salads are good. Lasagna, Penne Parm, Sizzling Steak are all good. Servers are always friendly. Micky is great behind the bar. Drinks are good. Will continue coming back.”
“Great maple sugaring place to tour! Folks did a great job of showing off their facility and processes. Also had pancake breakfast there as well… highly recommend if you get the chance to swing by their facility”
“We were fortunate enough to have a delicious dinner on Saturday night, and even the picky eaters of our group were beyond happy with their choices! Kudos to the staff and management of Cafe Adirondack!”
“I’ve been meaning to write this for years! We love everything about the Owl at Twilight. The food is so fresh, (literally grown in the garden that the porch overlooks,) wonderful service, and just love the atmosphere. Truly is such a unique spot in the Adirondacks with rare mid-week and weekend music, cigar, and wine events. The proprietor takes great pride in his establishment and it shows. Don’t forget to try any of their drink or dessert specials too!”
“Great deli! Everything is made fresh, wide variety of choices, call ahead and they will have it ready when you get there, very convenient. I highly recommend this place for takeout.”
“Food & service are good (as I would expect from the staff of the Blue Water Manor). Igloos outdoors are really fun. Indoor dining atmosphere leaves something to be desired (it always feels a bit chilly) but the deck area is nice.”
“We went through Melissa for our wedding cake this fall. We are both big DND nerds, so we wanted a cake that looked like a 20-sided dice. When we had reached out to her with our cake idea, we weren’t sure if she would be willing to try, but she was thrilled at the chance to try something new. We were also struggling to pick cake flavors since so much looked good, so she offered to combine the two flavors we wanted into layers. We were so happy with how it turned out, both look and the taste.”
“One of my favorite fine dining places around. Sea Bass is possibly best I've had. Scallops over black rice is sooo good. Never had black rice but it is really good. Piper in the bar is top notch. Wish they stayed open all winter.”
“Black Bear has always been a 5 star for us but the last visit, president's day weekend, it took 45 minutes for our food to come out. Waitress initially gave our bfast to another table but caught her mistake in time. During the waiting time, waitress did not keep us posted on the delay, actually avoided coming out to the tables. She was MIA.”
“Lunch spot must try if you are in the area .Sandwiches are delicious. The Beet salad is 1 of my favs.soup are on point. Always hot & delicious.service is great. Food comes out rather quickly together for table. Settingis a old building that dates back to 1912. originally built for a high school for the students in the area later turning into a courthouse.
