We had another nice visit & dinner here on Wed July 5, 2023. Our party of 4 was seated promptly. Open Wed-Sun 4-9pm. They don't take reservations but have a bar & deck to enjoy a drink while you wait for a table. Always busy here in the summer months.

The Loon Restaurant and Tavern is a cozy, welcoming spot with a cheerful neighborhood atmosphere. The food is dependably good and delicious, featuring upscale, out-of-the-ordinary specials while maintaining usual favorites. Menu highlights include a delicious burger, pasta dishes, duck burritos, fried haddock, a mushroom Swiss burger, and crab cake appetizers. Portions are healthy. The service is amazing, attentive, friendly, and efficient. The decor has an old-time local Adirondack hunting cabin feel. It is a popular place for both regular customers and seasonal visitors, highly recommended for a great meal.
