The LakeHouse Reviews
Had a fantastic dinner at La Bella Vita to kick off my best friend’s bachelorette weekend. Our server Riley took excellent care of us!
Lis, Jess, and Colleen were so gorgeous…but that was nothing compared to their amazing service. By the end of the day they felt like family. I’m going to order one of the Eddie Bauer shirts they wear, so I can feel more like them. Honestly, I’ve never experienced service like this in my 70 years. I was swimming and having a rough time in the Morgan’s wake and the girls were super attentive to my dehydration. Service like none other, I wish more resorts had staff like this.
LOVE this place the lobster roll is one of the best I have ever had. The view is spectacular. Just be aware after labor day it's only open for lunch and they close the pavillion altogether. I had no trouble getting a nice table all overlooking the lake.

The LakeHouse offers a mix of updated rooms in the main hotel and cabins that need some upgrades. Its location on Lake George is its highlight, providing a fun atmosphere for families. The staff is friendly, and guests enjoyed interacting with the bartenders at the outdoor patio pool bar. The resort features a gorgeous pool with a beautiful lake view, alongside an indoor pool for cooler days or rainy weather. The dining options are varied, although some found the breakfast buffet overpriced. Guests particularly love the ice cream served at 3:30 on the lawn. The recreational center is exceptional, boasting activities like mini golf, baseball, video games, and rock climbing, making it a dream for kids. Although the rooms are described as traditional in appearance, they are comfortable and spacious, with balconies that offer lovely views of the lake. The resort itself is described as stunning, despite being somewhat dated. Overall, it remains a nice place for a getaway, with a mix of positives and areas in need of improvement, such as the need for more family-friendly dining options.
