One of my favorite places to come every season with my family because the place itself and the drinks are absolutely amazing! But I have to say the bar service has been extremely poor. I was here this past weekend the same night they had a DJ and the female and male bartender who are there regularly on weekends are extremely rude and not approachable, I have never seen anything like it. It is the same 2 people everytime I come, and you feel as though you are doing them a disservice by asking them for a drink. Every single time I have come they have made rude comments as well. A shame because it's a beautiful spot for not only locals, but for visitors every year!

We visited Lake George for my bachelor party. We went here for lunch on Friday, and the food was stellar. Our outstanding waitress Molly let us know that they were having a dance party Saturday night, so we all bought tickets and attended. Towards the end of the night, the bartender was extremely rude to a few of my friends, threw ice at them, and asked them to “get out”, unprovoked; the DJ and the bouncers apologized for her behavior on their way out. This should not be tolerated by any means; this is not how an establishment should treat their patrons. Would come back for the food, but not for nightlife. Be better.

We love The Gem! We vacation in Bolton Landing every summer and we always visit The Gem for a delicious meal. The sweet corn elote is a favorite!

Best place in Bolton by far! Fantastic drinks (Moscow Mule made with fresh lime juice and homemade ginger syrup was excellent). Fantastic food (wings are a must have, pulled pork platter was great, even the pickled onions were on point, and 4 different creative BBQ sauces for the pork and wings). Clearly they care about delivering high quality food. Great service. Nice vibe. Wish we found this “Gem” sooner in our trip!

If you want BBQ ribs where the meat falls off the bones- this is NOT the place. The rib meat seemed chewy and undercooked - you had to work to get it off the bone. Others in the party had brisket, which they said was dry. The seating outdoors would have been pleasant if the tables that we sat at weren't so close to the speakers. I hate to post a negative review, but I would have eaten elsewhere if I had a heads-up.
My wife and I had the brisket and chicken wings with buffalo on the side. Both our meals were excellent. It was our first time there, and i'm glad we went. We are definitely absolutely going back and trying the ribs.

We came here on a whim after exploring Bolton and had no idea where to go for dinner. Turned out to be such a great choice! They sat us on the back patio where there was awesome live music playing, and the whole place had such a fun, energetic vibe. The food also hit the spot. We got the chicken wings, loaded tots, and elote, and everything was seriously delicious. Definitely coming back next time we’re in Lake George!

What a great find! Surprisingly kid friendly, and great cocktails to boot. My husband had the pulled pork and loved it. I ordered the wings, which fell off the bone. Sauces were so good we ended up ordering some to go. Don’t sleep on the gin fizz!

Food was excellent and my criticism is admittedly totally unfair. We arrived at 7:15. I think we were one of only two tables that were occupied. We ordered a cocktail and our dinner. Cocktails arrived and were very good. 10 seconds later dinner arrived. No time to relax and enjoy the cocktail (which was not cheap). This is unfair, I realize. Their service was extremely quick and it’s hard to listen to anyone complain about that. We would have loved to enjoy our cocktails and then our dinner with an either a glass of wine or beer, but that didn’t happen. Our entire experience was less than 25 mins from entry to exit. We felt rushed but understand that it was just in their effort to do a great job. Would highly recommend the restaurant though, as food was very good and cocktails were also quite good. Maybe just wait to order dinner until you are ready for it to arrive instantaneously!
