Joke. I purposely said “2 star” so you’d pay attention and not dismiss as just a bad day. Beautiful place messed up by bad service and even worse mgmt. I’d have given it a 3 if we ate at Applebees maybe. Best of luck if you’re staying at the sagamore. Eat elsewhere though. Also drink a beer elsewhere.
Food was excellent. Situated on Lake George with a beautiful view.
The food was terrible. Burger came out rate, chicken was uncooked and the toast for the BLT wasn’t toasted. The shrimp were slimy.
Service wasn’t great either.
Kaymar, our server, was amazing! The Ahi tuna appetizer was great, and the BLT and key lime pie. Great views of the lake and mountains.
We were definitely expecting more. Here you pay for the view and not for the food. The burger was … I don’t have words, we asked for medium and we got well done from three days ago. Our server was awesome and that’s why we give 3 stars. If it was just the food then just a 2 or maybe even 1. The view was awesome.
Great food and view

Ok so the clam chowder was excellent , lobster roll missing sauce(suggestion of something creamy maybe with dill ) and oysters were ok . The view was spectacular , site was beautiful and the service although nice gentlemen try and walk and not run as we were served all three plates for a party of two all at once so clearly our fries were cold because we ate the soup and oysters (APPetizers!) first of course . Slow down folks , oysters first as they knew we were sharing , clear the table then bring soup and lobster roll with hot fries . The plates were so rushed and dumped all at once . Thanks

I got the sauce of the seafood stew on my shirt, so I have to give this restaurant 1.5 stars. I'm kidding! The service was friendly and quick, which I was thoroughly impressed with considering it was a busy Friday night. They have a lovely wine selection and a great variety on the dining menu. I got the tuna and the oysters as starters and each first bite had me pause in appreciation for how tasty it was. As mentioned above, I got the fisherman's stew (seafood stew? You'll know it when you see it) and it was also amazing! The dish comes with squid ink linguine, which is a very nice touch. The key lime pie is exquisite on exquisite! I would say that every dessert at this restaurant (and all the other restaurants onsite of the Sagamore) are large enough to split between two people (and that's coming from a girl who loves her sweet treats)! Come hungry, enjoy the views, and a gorgeous, casual atmosphere.

The location is top notch and I can't speak for the other restaurants at the hotel, but the food is slightly overpriced for what you get but it's good and hard to complain about the quality. However, the service and customer service needs a bit of work. Hosts are very curt and unfriendly. The wait staff spilled water on my phone and didn't care or offer an apology. He was impatient and rushed us to make our order. He also brought us our bill before we had even finished our meal. They missed out on additional drink and dessert orders because of it. Their loss!

Atmosphere was wonderful. However the food was not. The food should have never made it to the plate, never mind our table

Everything was great here, and we dined here twice during our one week stay in June. I highly recommend the fried scallops.

The Ahi Tuna was amazing! ?❤️
The oysters however were sandy & disappointing.
My fella loved his lobster, but we didn't care for the clam chowder.
FYI, The clam chowder has bacon in it,for those who are pescetarian.
I wasn't crazy about my sea bass & especially the succotash though it made for a great photo.
FYI: they charge $5 for bread & list it as fries.
I'll try the salmon & the scallops next time.
The Key Lime Pie was fabulous! ❤️
The chocolate mouuse was disappointing!
The view is absolutely beautiful! ?
I'll definitely be ordering the Ahi tuna & the key lime pie again.
Pan Seared Ahi Tuna ❤️
Toasted Sesame, Yuzu Marmalade, Seaweed Salad, Wasabi Aioli, Soy Peals
Key Lime Pie ? ❤️
graham cracker crust, madagascar vanilla bean meringue, lemon, blueberry spread

Great place for a bite on a sunny summer day. This spot is magical and presents the absolute best view of Lake George. The food is good and the service is what you expect from the 5 star team at The Sagamore. The only downside is the lack of parking on the premises for non hotel guests.
Parking: Paid parking lot available if there's plenty of space for hotel guests. Otherwise, you have to park outside of the island and walk in
