The quality of the food was marginal. Scallops were good, but the snapper was frozen. The food was salty including the lobster bisque which was supposedly homemade, but did not taste like it. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Everything was perfect start to finish. From the greeting at the door to our server (Ray) to the owner coming over to see how our meal was...literally our favorite thing about our visit to the Lake George area so far. Filet 10/10, wine and bourbon list 10/10, adorable ambiance...Will visit again just so we can eat here. 💞

My wife & I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, both gentlemen. I told them that we dined at Shepards @ Erlowest on Friday evening and that our dinner at By The Sea was "heads & tails" above Shepards' dinner. By The Sea offered a Filet & Lobster Tail dinner that was out of this world. The filet was cooked to perfection and was made outstanding by the peppercorn sauce. The lobster was flavorful. My wife's steak was outstanding as well. I have no words to describe the deliciousness of The New England Clam Chowder and By The Sea Wedge Salad !!!! We have been dining at Shepards once a year for the past 7 years. This was our 2nd visit to By The Sea.......and we will be RETURNING for years to come. By The Sea is a dining experience that you must try !!!!!!!!

Beyond the Sea never fails to amaze me with the quality of their food and service. We have been going there for a few summers now and it is always delicious. We had a table of 4 with everybody ordering a different dish. Everybody was delighted with their choice. That's rare! Cocktails are wonderful, good advice on wine selection, and a caring, attentive staff make Beyond the Sea one of our all time favorite restaurants.

We had a hand cut NY strip steak 🥩 you can't find a better cut anywhere. Plus half a lobster tail and lobster ravioli delicious
