We’ve been going to Cate’s for 10+ years and always enjoyed it. But last night we had a truly mediocre meal. The flank steak special arrived cold and the pesto gnocchi was more sauce than pasta. That said, several people in our party really enjoyed their meals. This inconsistency was a real disappointment after so many years of great meals at Cate’s.
Our group of 10 have been going to Cates Italian Garden for our annual get together for 4yrs. now in Bolton Landing N.Y. We decided to go to Cates Garden because everyone associated with our get together each yr. enjoys the atmosphere, food and service. Its a great place to talk laugh and just enjoy our 3hr. get together. Best part is being in Lake George, Bolton Landing is when your done eating you can go inside to the bar or just walk and enjoy the small town itself. If ever...
Stopped into the patio and tried a slice of pizza. Owner was working, very friendly, and I have to say this was one of the best slices of pizza Ive ever had. Definitely top 3 of all time.
