Absolutely must try! The breakfast cocktails and coffees were amazing, the food was fantastic and the service is excellent. Do not miss out on this place, will definitely be back on every visit to Lake George.

Perfect casual breakfast spot. My kid's said it was the best pancakes they ever had so we bought a few packages of dry mix. Staff were sweet and attentive.

Staff was friendly,although they seemed a bit overwhelmed at times. Had breakfast for two for $48. The food was good. Brought our pooch. Very busy place on a Sunday morning.

We at breakfast at the shack and had classic breakfast dishes, my husband had eggs Florentine and I had an omelet made to order. Both were delicious and cooked perfectly. We were seated immediately and our sever Mikayla served us with efficiency, energy and a smile. Would definitely come back!

Our hostess sat us immediately on an outside table, but after 20 minutes of waiting and watching the waitress bring water to the table near us while avoiding eye contact, we walked out. A bit ridiculous to sit there without even water while you watch all the other tables get serviced. It was a slow Wednesday, they were not busy, so there was really no excuse.

The Shack is our favorite place to get breakfast! Not only are Matt's Famous Pancakes the absolute best (with the fruit puree!!), but the environment is cozy and wonderful. I have to mention their music as part of the atmosphere because it is so unique, peaceful, and memorable! On top of that, every member of their staff is so kind!
