Attended a private event here and was blown away by the food, hosts, and ambiance! There was a 4-course meal with beer/ cider pairings, and every course was delicious and perfect for the fall season. Opened with a cup of pheasant bone broth, so savory and complex. The caramelized delicata squash was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Also loved the lamb, very tender and flavorful. The dinner space was beautifully, simply decorated with fall grasses, branches, flowers, and candles. Jake and Elizabeth were so gracious and friendly, and clearly extremely talented. Highly recommend!

We had a great afternoon/evening here at a Saturday picnic. A couple, one not necessarily beer fan- had a great time and excellent picnic meal here. Our Saturday picnic turned out to be breezy w showers so we wound up in indoors. It’s a delightful space w wonderful food and ambience. We’ll be back..

If I can’t convince you, let this stack of ice cream do the trick.

Intimate and cozy, amazing food and great people all around. Definitely worth the drive from wherever you come. Looking forward to dinner in spring and summer and seeing this place grow. Low abv beers that complimented the dishes were exceptional. Make the trip!

Delicious food and a lovely intimate dining experience! Book ahead of time or try the waitlist to get in if you’re coming to the area, it’s worth it!
Amazing experience of farm to table. Food was amazing so were the host. With home brewed beer and views of the mountains and farm animals, worth the drive.
Unto its own. Special and worth driving out or your way. Arrive, park, exhale and enter into an architectural Folk Art painting. Plus the food matches the specialness. Roasted garlic. Snap peas fresh off the vine. Local artisan breads. Fresh mint custard. Cherry cake. Craft beers. After a relaxing meal, drift down the slope to visit the lambs. Catskills treasure.

Absolutely loved this place!
At the end of a weekend celebrating a friend’s wedding we were looking for somewhere we could enjoy our last dinner in the Catskills and were recommended BF&F by our Airbnb host.If you’ve ever travelled in Italy, BF&F’s model seems to be akin to an Agriturismo. Local ingredients prepared with minimum fuss and maximum taste. Absolutely delicious. All washed down with refreshing local beers and ales.We came in June where they have summer service Fri-Sat (turn up, no booking required), with outside seating available too). This changes in the winter months to a bookable sit-down meal on one day only.Elizabeth and Jacob were fantastic hosts - we’d recommend a visit, whenever you’re in the area.
Amazing farm to table experience. Most definitely worth a visit
Amazing getawayThe two hosts are very nice and operate the whole dinner from the kitchen to serving the table and everything in betweenIt’s a set menu of sharing plates in the middle. Portions are great and the food tastes really good and different. It tastes homeyYou get served cider and beer throughout the dinner that were produced locallyIts a great experience, needs to be done at least once
