Had dinner at Kennedy's last weekend with a very close friend. The seafood linguine was incredible and, despite being located in an exclusive residential neighborhood, the staff were very welcoming and the view of Manhattan across Jamaica Bay made it all the more special.

Kennedy's and Buckley's have been my favorite restaurants since I was a child and still to this day. The owners are one of the most sweetest families I've ever met and have such big hearts. The owners and staff make you feel like you're family and go above and beyond for their customers. It's a great place to go out to eat with your family or a girl's night out. Amazing food and atmosphere

i go to Kennedy's because it provides a view of the bay beach at sunset and is a step up from other eateries in Rockaway. It is off- putting to have to stop at the guard house at the entrance to Breezy Point where you are given paper tickets recording the time you arrived, that you are going to be at Kennedy's, and will be arrested if you go on the beach where you are not allowed. You are also given a token which you must insert into the machine at the entry to Kennedy's in order to raise the metal arm blocking the entrance to the parking lot. i am sure none of this bothers the residents of Breezy as it reflects their generations long efforts to keep outsiders out. The woman( she demonstrated no service skills of a wait person) who recited the specials from her list did not introduce herself, made no eye contact, no chit chat, no warmth. Her one brief stop by our table to inquire if everything was ok was on the fly. When we left she was busy at a counter we passed, Her "good night" was not even accompanied by a head turn. This has not always been my experience with the wait staff there, the few other times i have gone. But last night really drove home the Breezy Point point.....outsiders stay out.

Great restaurant, great view of the city and Brooklyn. They have a bar and restaurant with great atmosphere. It has great views and is right on the bay. I would strongly suggest checking it out.

Our family lived in Breezy for almost 50 years and it was always a treat when we could go to Kennedy's. It was a great feeling to have our favorite restaurant within walking distance. The food, service and views are amazing and now that I live 150 miles away I really miss our meals at Kennedy's.

Had the best short ribs I've ever had. There was not a single piece of fat on it and melted in your mouth. Drinks were awesome also. My wife had the fillet mignon. Perfect! Thank you for a great meal!
