“Last night I celebrated my Birthday at Kennedy's Restaurant and it was Fabulous time!! I absolutely love this restaurant the atmosphere is so beautiful and elegant I almost felt like I was on a cruise ship * We had a great table by the window overlooking the beach * and I totally felt like I was away on vacation somewhere which put me and my guests in a great celebratory mood. I love the fact that the chairs were very comfortable and cushioned and there were no stairs to use the restroom which was a big plus for my elderly aunt. The food was absolutely delicious we shared the fried calamari platter and scallops risotto for appetizers. The porterhouse veal chop was absolutely divine! We ended the night with a birthday's cake and the live guitarist/vocalist chimed in and sang happy birthday! It was all above and beyond what I could of asked for and me and my guest all had the best time ever! Special thanks to our server Daniel and the Hostess that made us comfortable. Can't wait to go back🥳”

“A delightful heaven off court street. We haven’t had this level of high skilled cuisine in Carroll gardens in a minute. The food is to die for! The relaxed yet stunning atmosphere, the warm homy yet elevated design, and the extremely precise, friendly and high EQ service just add to rounding up one of the best experiences you will have all around.”

“For us, the food was hit or miss. Right from the start, the Sardine toast was the star of the night, then there was aRazor clam special, which was 50/50... the clams were great, but we didn't prefer the melon taste to the dressing. After that, we had the mortadella and sourdough. Both were very good. Ate that we had the snap pea salad and the mitake mushrooms with garlic fudge. Again, both were excellent. It was the mains that just fell apart for us. The bucatini had slices of squash on top that were dry, and a bit too much basil, which overpowered the dish. Other than the basil, it was lacking in flavor. The other main was the hake and risotto. While the risotto was heavily citrussed, almost too much so, it was still tasty, but the fish, again, lacked flavor/ seasoning/ salt. Overall, the meal was a 3.5, but we bumped it to a 4, because worth the omission of the mains, it could have been a 4.5-5.”

“Best pasta I’ve had since visiting Italy. The paccheri with pork shoulder ragu is something I’d come back for. Loved the vibe of the room as well. The wait staff gives you space to enjoy your meal and you don’t feel rushed at all.”

“Wow! 🔥 This place was absolutely incredible.
The food was beyond delectable—every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. And honestly, the food deserves to be mentioned twice because it was just that good.
The service struck the perfect balance between warm, welcoming hospitality and true professionalism. The atmosphere is the ideal blend of chic and rustic, creating a cozy yet elevated dining experience.
We had a small mix-up with our reservation, but the manager handled it graciously and quickly got everything sorted out, which made an already great experience even better.
Part of me wants to keep this gem a secret, but it’s too good not to share. Then again, I don’t think they’re hurting for customers—they were completely packed on a Monday evening, and after dining here, I can see exactly why.”

“Stopped by on a lazy Sunday afternoon and ended up enjoying one of the most comforting meals I’ve had in a while. The tortilla soup completely stole the show — rich, flavorful, perfectly thick, and packed with crispy blue corn tortilla pieces in every bite. Honestly wished they had a bigger bowl because it disappeared fast.
Tried the bean & epazote tetelas on the side and they paired so well with the soup. Also shared the black bean avocado tlayudita and chilaquiles — both fresh, satisfying, and full of flavor. The chilaquiles do get a bit pricey once you add the extras, but the taste made it worth it for us.
Came around 2 PM on a Sunday and still found outdoor seating easily, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and unhurried. Great food, warm atmosphere, and one of those places you leave already thinking about coming back to.”

“My husband and I have been going to Daphne’s since we moved back to Brooklyn. While food and service have been excellent without fail, Jackie is who keeps us coming back month after month. Her warmth, kindness, and knowledge are unparalleled, and we can’t imagine having a better time at dinner with anyone else.”

“Exceptional eatery! Diner style all the way. Had eggs and corned beef hash with potatoes. Grapefruit juice (tropicana) and took a cinnamon roll with me (the best). Hash was not crispy but LOVELY that way, eggs were done just right, over medium, the heavily buttered rye toast dipped provided excellent yolk dips. Potatoes were abundant, and had morsels of pepper and onion. Ketchup exploded on me a lil..(can't put the bottles in the fridge). However they were attentive and apologetic following the incident.
I made my return for a waffle, the way it had tantalized my nostrils on the previous visit was inspiring of such. Waffle with banana was perfect. Filling, fluffy, crispy, sweet and savory.
p.s. ask for the salsa verde :)
Thank you for providing a wonderful service. Will be returning as able!”

“cameriera italiana con capelli corti. scortese e molto maleducata. non tornerò piu. non ha saputo ne servire il cliente oltre al fatto che dovrebbe farsi un corso di corretto italiano prima di parlare con un cliente in quel modo. pessima pubblicità al locale. peccato e mi dispiace ma non tornerò più.”

“When a restaurant gets a bib gourmand from the Michelin guide yet averages only 4.3 stars on Google, you know you're in for a good time - and this did not disappoint.
The ambiance is great. The egg rolls, wonton soup and eggplant general taos were to die for. The beef and broccoli didn't hit as much as I would have liked but didn't matter we were already in love. The blood orange sorbet is the icing on the cake. Well done, team.”

“Cobble Hill is famous for its diverse and interesting restaurant scenes. So this is exactly the place that is devoted to this reputation. The place is the corner shop that is cute and cozy inside, but during warm season, it offers quite a spacious outside seating area. As for the food, despite my general dislike of omelets, I fell in love with their crayfish omelet, this is a definite a must-have item. Also, I really enjoyed their chicken liver pate, frog legs, and swordfish. Although duck fat potatoes were not bad, you can easily skip it.
So this is definitely a place where I want to come back and try more of their dishes.”

“They accommodated our walk in party of 4 around 6pm on a Saturday and told us we had an hour and 45 before their reservation (plenty of time!) even gave us their “favorite table” in the house. Buzzy, great music, and overall vibe. Highly recommend!”

“If you like pickles, the vegan Chicago dog is the best hotdog in the city. It’s better than any dog I had in Chicago. I feel silly for paying $9 for a hotdog, but it’s very good and does come with a bag of chips. All this place does is hotdogs, and they do it well Updated from previous review on 2026-08-02”

“We’ve been coming here for years. The menu is standard, the beer can be really refreshing, and it’s the right place to go if you want to meet locals. It’s a friendly spot, and the outside seating is lovely!
Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids and a playground right in front so you can let them play and have your beer!”
