Grew up in Brentwood I am 32 now don't always go to this place but when I do it is more on the expensive side, Service used to be great when I was a kid but every time I go there and order now they never listen to my order clearly and then tell me after the sandwich is made or during making of the sandwich that I never told them, for the price the service really sucks

Always great hired staff and in most cases the food is pleasant but… I have yet to enjoy a fresh chicken cutlet. I was dissatisfied because this was maybe the 4th time it was an old piece of meat. I could barely eat my sandwich it was so hard and discolored. I would really like for this location to take their food prep serious again. I probably won’t be back sadly.

Asked for a simple warm bagel with cream cheese and bacon 8$ later cold bagel, cold microwaved bacon and an attitude tried to pay wit wit 8$ exactly and got more attitude for giver her 10$ bill when told the total was 8.15$

The sausage was a tad salty in my eggs-sausage-and-cheese sandwich ($6). Regular bagel with cream cheese ($3.5) was just ok.

I wanted a cup of decaf coffee. Came to this bagel shop. Decided to order a bagel with egg and cheese also.Their two pot coffee is behind the counter- no self serve. Once my bagel was ready, I asked for the decaf coffee. They don't serve decaf coffee at all! So now I had to pay for the egg sandwich and couldn't get the type of coffee I came in for!

Definitely the worst bagels. Not quality at all. There was hair in one of the sandwiches I ordered. Service was horrible, slow and rude. Place actually looks dirty as well, not surprising. Maybe sometimes it's okay not to support local businesses. Also the napkins were clearly stepped on and given to us. 0/10 do not recommend
I used to go here for many years growing up as a kid all the way into adulthood. I have to say, the previous owners were amazing and the staff was wonderful. You can go in and order something, minimal wait and be on your way. I've been back several times after change of ownership just to notice it's become worse and worse every single time. I'm sorry, but no regulars go there anymore. It's like a ghost town inside, all the cooks & staff left the place, idk for what reasons but it just shows something is wrong. I went in to order a breakfast sandwich today and there was one other person in there with me...I waited 20minutes for a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, along with at the end of the 20minutes, them telling me they don't have pastrami anymore for my 2nd sandwich. Would've been nice to know that when they first took my order. Anyways, 20min wait time with no one in there is just crazy! What a waste of time for a horrible sandwich at that. I officially will not come here ever again, it's sad it came to this but this place is ready to go down in the dumps.

These bagels are by far The Best bagels I have eaten!!They are light, and fresh!! Unlike others I have to eaten. Heavy and doughy.From everything to plan Stratmore Bagels in Brentwood are the best!

Was a loyal fan of this place until today. I grabbed two bagels with cream cheese and while eating it the test got more and more sour then my girlfriend bit into hers and notice the same thing taste like it was made with spoiled cream or milk. As a loyal customer I know something was not right so I called (not looking for any refund in anyway) just to give them a heads up that something was not right but the owner was not the nicest and literally said to me verbatim “you complain but we make freshy freshy” and refused to even hear me out even though I was trying to help them. Lost me as a customer sad because it’s the only bagel place by my but if you going to treat your customers like that then oh well! I’ll go somewhere else

It breaks my heart!!!! I used to love this place but lately I only came for breakfast as my last option but everytime I tried giving them a chance I just kept wasting my money and disappointed- either too much condiments or burnt, not the nicest staff. Sad to say but I rather drive to baysbore 15 min instead of coming here anymore which is walking distance to me. They need to get new management please somebody save Strathmore bagels in Brentwood- for now guys I will have to stop coming here for breakfast! Get nicer cook, stop being cheap with your generating income business!
