Love ice cream…..always looking out for a place that sells sundaes….this was an old fashion ice cream parlor with a great selection to choose from….lady was very nice and friendly…Carvel ice cream brings back a lot of childhood memories…

We've been going to this carvel for about fifteen years now and have purchased cakes several times per year. All of them have been great, until the one we purchased this week. All of the cakes in the freezer appear to be smaller than they used to be.Yet the price has gone up drastically. The cake we purchased ended up being about half the thickness than it used to be. And then upon cutting the cake, there were hardly any chocolate crunchies, until you got to the center of the cake. I will say the lady that helped me was very friendly however, we won't be returning.

The manager or whoever was running the show tonight has terrible customer service skills. When I asked about the non dairy options, he decided to speak via a proxy rather than address me directly. In this case the teenage proxy did her best to communicate that none of the Oatly flavors were available. He then rudely waved us to the side since we seemed to be holding up the line from his point of view and take an order for the one woman standing behind us. It wasn’t exactly busy at that moment. Thankfully we found another place nearby that not only interacted with us in a courteous manner but also happily shared what non dairy options they carried.

So for years your birthday cakes have been fantastic, but recently I have noticed a lack of chocolate crunchies between the vanilla and chocolate layers. Inflation? Crunchy shortage? What gives?

It’s always been dirty inside now they DOUBLED PRICES!!!! Are they insane??? Been living in Brewster 18 years NEVER NEVER going back. Just bought 2 pints of Hagen Daz at Deccicos for $8 (2 for $4). Throw in some milk and a peanut butter cup, blend it, I have at least 4 medium Carvelanches costing me about $12. New cost at Carvel would have been $30!!!! Under new management DONT CARE ?? SEE YA!!

Worst $7.00 large shake ( tasted like WATER mixed with milk) I ever had in my entire life ( I'll never go back) it was 1st time ever going to this Carvel in Brewster. Shake @ wendys 100% better n cheaper!
