I stopped here on a trip for dinner in hopes of something delicious and a place to relax and enjoy a break from driving. The food is so so so delicious. I shared the combo platter with my friend. Everything on it was seasoned perfectly, fresh, and well paired. For 20 bucks it comes with enough for two people. We also each got a chicharron pupusa which I highly recommend you eat with the cabbage and sauce together. I was there close to close and our server was attentive. This is a casual spot with music coming from the bar next door. Up beat but relaxed. Our server was attentive and so sweet. Seriously, if you’re considering trying this place.. what are you waiting for?

The food is ok, but it is definitely overpriced. The atmosphere is more cafeteria-like. Same with the drinks. I asked for a whiskey neat and got a shot with ice and was charged $15. NYC prices in a not so chic part of town.

Central American restaurant on one side. Bar with loud music on the other side. Even on a Monday evening it was packed… there’s street parking in the front of the restaurant. Food is great and not that expensive by today’s standards but definitely NOT a family restaurant. Service somehow slow.
