Went here for Valentine's day and was tremendously disappointed. Rather than doing what's right closing reservations when they knew they were exceeding capacity, they overbooked which resulted in a 1 hour plus delay in seatingndor many people.
I had an 8:45pm reservation and was seated by 9:30. By the time a waiter came around to take our order, it was close to 9:45. The menu for the night was fixed to a handful of options and we got our salads pretty quickly but then waited nearly 40 minutes to get our main course. By the time dessert was served, it was 11pm. Tables around us had been sitting for nearly an hour and never had anybody come to take their order.
Somehow the restaurant thought comping a single glass of wine for the subpar experience was suitable on a 250 dollar dinner.
I've eaten here before and the food and service was phenomenal but they clearly let their greed cloud their judgement when taking reservations on this day.
Quite a shame.
-Edit: Staff reached out and acknowledged there was a service issue on V day. They offered me a very generous compensation to offset the inconvenience. This is above and beyond what I would ever expect.

Made my reservation for Valentine's Day over a month in advance. When I showed up, the place was swamped and clearly overbooked. My reservation time was for 7:00pm and I was not seated until 7:40. Not a great start and while this was not the most expensive prix fixe event I've ever been to, I think for this price the wait was a little ridiculous. The host told us to wait by the bar but there was nowhere to sit and there were about 20 other couples who were also waiting so we ended up just standing in the corner. However, once we were seated, things picked up slightly. The only reason the service did not receive 1 star is because the wait staff were pretty good and carried the service on their back the whole night. My water was never empty, and our waiter came by many times and checked in. It did take a while to be seen at first, but once the waiter came by the first time, it was fairly constant service the rest of the night. Every waiter working on 2/14 deserves a round of applause in my opinion. I enjoyed my food (Pollo Martini), but I found the tiramisu lacking compared to some of the other Italian restaurants I've been to in recent memory. Overall, I am kind of getting sick of these restaurants charging premium prices for these events without premium service. I went to Gabrielle's of Westport last year and it was the same thing: overbooked to hell except there the service was even worse. If you want to act like a premium location for Valentine's Day, maybe don't allow the whole state of NY to book a reservation. Would rather spend a bit more and not have such a bad experience on what was supposed to be a romantic evening for my lady and I. Will not be coming back for Valentine's Day 2027.

What can I say. 1st time eating here and only 5 minutes from home. Always packed and had to see what its all about. The atmosphere is upscale, the interior is beautiful and the food was delicious. The server and host were spot on. The service provided by the server was above and beyond. Celebrated my 12th year anniversary and they made us feel special with all they did. Thank you and we look forward to return.

First time here and the food had no taste, so expensive their sauces were very bad. Service was slow and even asking for a Diet Coke took 10 minutes. I received a coke and when I asked to switch it they said oh we don't have Diet Coke, huh? Veal dish had 3 coin size pieces, what a waste of money.

Service is always on point, Food is flavorful and consistent, and Atmosphere is always alive and refreshing. Highly recommend reservations on a Friday or Saturday night and if you’ve got time before or after dinner, enjoy a cigar and some wine on their beautifully landscaped back patio.
First and last time Too loud.people can't seem to talk at thier table without being obnoxious and loud.Couldn't hear if any music was playing. $35+ dollars for 6 pieces of lobster ravioli. Way over priced . Good selection of wine. Bread for the table with a oil and balsamic dispenser. Just wasn't feeling it! Hoodie and sneakers allowed. Saw table next to us with dressed down attire
