Delicious barbecue smoked and then fried to perfection. Food and vibes are great but the outdoor seating area could use some work (maybe new benches to replace the ones falling apart and more umbrellas). Store was lovely as well with fresh pies and tons of different beautiful produce and baked goods to pick from!
Great food, awesome market, well worth the drive
Second visit to Salingers orchard. Baked goods were day old, fair tasting. I asked about apples, female staff went to back and brought 4 apples said they were Fuji. Giant yellow ones. On my way back I bit into a very mealy soft apple, with dark spots. I was disappointed and felt betrayed by a place that is supposedly an orchard that grows apples. All of them were in the same condition. Waste of time and money was my take away.
Great home made goods.
Apple Cider Donuts šš»
Awesome donuts and the Meatballs and eggplant parm were amazing
Great local farm food and bakery. One of Brewsters many gems. I like to get away from the house and end up here usually . Very dog friendly, has a food bus thatās available on the weekends. Only downside are the crowds during the busy fall apple picking seasonā¦.thats when I stay away. I enjoy purchasing the honey, pie and watermelon twizzlers. I also like to buy ācountryā souvenirs for families whenever they come to visit
SUN., March 16th⦠Have been going to Salinger since my kids were small and they are now grown And as time goes on in the years pass, it just seems the quality of the pies in the jar foods has declined noticeably.
Had guests coming over and purchased two apple crumb pies and some pickled garlic
As far as Iām concerned, these pies are in edible. They are falling apart, even when I scoop it with a spoon. The crust feels old.
And the amount of sugar is mind blowing.
So sorry to see this happen. Wonāt be back anymore. Best of luck, Teri.
It's always a good vibe and atmosphere
Thank you Tim and Sydney! For the bests pies ! From students Boces Yorktown.

Roadside shop with a decent amount of local and fall items. A bit hidden but worth the visit. Options for food, decoration, and friendly vibes.
This place is great to stop by on the way to do some of the orchard apple picking and general fall activities.
We didnāt happen to stay too long but it does have a little seating/eating area to hang out and enjoy the fall weather and sights too.
10/20/24. We originally wanted to go to a different orchard but they said they were at capacity and in the future we should reserve entry online two weeks in advance. So we searched Google maps for other orchards nearby and salingers was very close. I called and they said come we have space. Well it was lovely. I enjoyed it very much. No picking, but plenty of pumpkins in all sizes. And mums in all sizes also. Inside the store they had a bakery with pies and breads. Candles, juices sauces, sweets and a whole lot more. It was wonderful. They also have a food truck with barbeque food and live music. I'm going again next year.
Love their produce and homemade products from apple cider donuts to coconut custard pies and all kind of jelly preserves. The hot apple cider to drink is Soo tasty!! Customer service is great as well
Beautiful orchard, best apple pie!!
