Wonderful time with family. Starting the holiday. However I was surprised that they did not have Sauvignon Blanc or Senserre. Maybe they ran out because I've had there before. Still a favorite
unortunately wildly slow service. waited 15 minutes to order a drink. coco cola never came - had to ask a diferent waiter to grab it. ordered several dishes to share - after first course took forever for next dishes to arrive. they brought the soup without a spoon - got cold waiting for one. daughter wanted to order a second drink - again had to get a different waiter to order one. brought the escargot without proper fork. scallop dish was out of this world to die for - but otherwise...
We have always had a wonderful experience here - last night was a disappointing exception. As always, ambiance is warm and inviting and service was excellent. The food, however, fell short of expectations. The appetizer, feta rolled in phyllo, was unappealing as it was a large block of slightly warmed feta wrapped in too little phyllo and some side toppings - just a miss as the feta completely overpowered the dish. I ordered the Beef bourguignon - the server told me it would fall...
