I’ve eaten at Pierre’s on numerous occasions and have always had the same experience: the food is exceptionally good, but the prices are high, almost excessively so. This particular review centers on a Friday night dinner with friends. Two of us had the bouillabaisse, one had duck, the other sea bass. Each of us commented on how well prepared our entrees were, and we were all pleased with our selections. For appetizers we shared the avocado and tomato salad, oysters, and sardines....
Great spot in the Hampton’s. The sea bass is fantastically paired with a cream sauce, asparagus and leeks. Most importantly, the fish was perfectly cooked with a nice sear. Desert was also very good and I’m not a desert kinda guy. Carlos does a great job working the bar. I’ll be back!
We enjoy visiting Pierre’s two-three times every summer. This restaurant has a great selection of food. Tarte flambee is the same as the best one in Eguesheim-Alsace. Beef tartar is also very nice (to be perfect I would add a teaspoon of cognac for a flavor). Desserts are excellent. The restaurant has a style, and they expect that guests come in style. I cannot help saying that I was disappointed reading a number of negative reviews. My suggestion is to arrive with a smile and...
