Terrible bar all around. Worse than college atmosphere. Cover charges in the early afternoon. Horrid pricing. They search for any reason to kick you out in the last half hour of business so they can add custom tip.

It took 25 minutes to get a single drink. Bar tender was not friendly towards me when I was able to ask for a drink.

I came to Red Jug with my family relatives on Christmas 2023, and for some reason the bouncer wouldn’t let me in because my ID was “vertical”. The bouncer told me that they only accept “horizontal” IDs. I don’t know if that’s their policy but if it is, they need to change it. And on top of that, we hangout outside where the outdoor seating area is and another employee comes out while the bouncer was just inside watching it all saying whoever had the out of state ID (also my ID) can’t be on the property. I’ve never experienced that before at any bar or restaurant.
Definitely a college Bar but surprising clean inside and service was great

The best guys here.Prices are more than good.5 stars. Cheers :)
The Red Jug Pub is a good place to hangout with some friends and have some good tasting drinks. My friends and I came on Tuesday trivia night and it was fun. There were about 30-40 people in the bar so it wasn’t super crowded (since the college semester hasn’t started). They have pool and darts and a jukebox called TouchTunes. You can add a song by putting cash into the machine or by downloading the app and paying it that way. I ordered the blue raspberry vodka lemonade and as always it was soooo good! There is parking but I wouldn’t say it’s ample.
Bouncers are awful.
Heh heh
Nice selection of cold beer and good live music. I wish they had a kitchen but they allow you to order local and eat there.
They had the best cider ever.

Best place in the world!!
I am a veteran with a verified service dog. I’m am very understanding of business not allowing dogs. The employees here were very welcoming to me bringing her in. I was there to watch the bills game and she was never a problem for the 3 hours we were there. All the sudden the short, balding, rolly-polly looking owner comes in absolutely screaming in my face. Before I had time to react the bartender told him about her paperwork and my veteran status, to which drunkenly screamed “I DONT GIVE A F$@& about his service or his dog they need to leave right now!!!” If you’re the owner and reading this, I hope your gingivitis gives you a heart attack.
Do not support this “manager.” I feel horrible for the young employees that work here and probably think it’s ok/normal for a manger to treat them awful. The bartenders and bouncers were very nice and respectful. My husband is a military active duty. We have a registered service dog. We asked the bartender when we first got there if our service dog was ok. She said yes. We stayed and watched the Bills game for about 3-4 hours spending over $100, tipping our servers, chatting with patrons, brining only positivity to the place all with our service dog sleeping underneath us. The bouncer didn’t even know she was there. The “manager” came in visibly drunk screaming at us to get our dog out. A calm conversation would have been fine but this man has no class, no professional skills, and no respect for patrons. He threatened to call the cops and have my husband taken out in cuffs. We did not react to his misplaced aggression so you can assume our confusion with his completely unacceptable behavior. We began closing out our tab and fixing to leave when he came back and got in my husbands face absolutely screaming again. My husband explained he is in the military with the managers response as “I don’t give a f**k about your service or your dog.” ADA will be hearing about this and this business will not be supported anymore. Cortland rjp has a great owner and professionalism and it’s an embarrassment this place is associated with them. Thank you to the great staff and sorry you have a disrespectful rude manager.
