I finally tried the morcilla. It was okay. It definitely tastes different to the Antiguan rice/blood pudding that I am accustomed to. The skin was crispy and now that I've finished eating both pieces I can still taste the spices.

Delicious, perfectly seasoned... haven't had cuchifritos this good for years!!! HOWEVER, I would have given the 5 STARS if the food was hotter. They need to work on their heating lamp situation cause otherwise the frituras are soggy... under normal circumstances I would not have eaten them but the taste was awesome enough to let it slide THIS TIME!

80's decor, really nothing special. I would categorize it as a mediocre hole in the wall joint. Food overall was a 6 in my opinion. Good enough to enjoy. Buen provecho!

Have been dining from here for years. The food is absolutely delicious. Plan on take out because the seating are is small and it's always crowded. Its definitely worth the wait. Parking is not easy. Busy Street.
You may wait 10 min for your order to be taken.

If you're looking for authentic Puerto Rican food, this is where is at. The food was delicious, just was cooked by Dominicans and Mexican lol.

This is a place I've been coming to for almost half a century, and they have yet to disappoint.

It's been one of the few places left in Fordham Road, where you can get a lot of food at a decent price. I bought the Beef stew combo ($25), which comes with Yellow Rice, Red Beans, and Sweet Plantains. You can ask for White rice, or in place of plantain, a salad.

I heard it even popped up on a Food Network show. If you enjoy Spanish cuisine, this is a place worth the visit.
